I scheduled an appointment for 8am today, arrived on time only to find the lab closed. Waited for 30 minutes and the lab was still closed. Whoever runs this lab needs to be ousted.

Came for a 2 hour glucose test and was given the glucose for 1 hour to drink after first blood draw. Careless mistakes on their end and was told I’ll have to come back for a redo. This location is unorganized, rude and incompetent. Do not go here for lab work.

There were 2 ladies working. They were so friendly and welcoming. I definitely had the positive experience during my visit there.

During my recent visit on 4/20/23, Indigo proved to be incredibly valuable. I am currently in the midst of a confusing insurance switch over and have yet to receive my updated card. Although my labs were ordered by my previous doctor, they needed to be completed promptly. Dealing with this issue has been a challenging ordeal, but Indigo was there to guide me through every step of the process. She provided me with all of the necessary information and was very accommodating. Despite being warned that my veins can be tricky to locate, Indigo, who is also a skilled phlebotomist, was able to draw my blood effortlessly. My experience at BioReference was made all the more pleasant by Indigo's assistance, and I am incredibly grateful for her help. I strongly recommend this lab.

1 star for the nice lady doing the blood test and her patience with no one helping herThis place takes 30 minutes minimum to get a blood test. They have one lady working and you sit in a 1980s old waiting room where everything from the staff and environment is stuck in timeHow could places like this still exist and in the Silicon Valley of all places.

Very disappointing experience overall. First of all, I had an appointment but they still checked people in the order in which they had signed in. On asking why I got a feeble "sorry we didn't notice that you had an appointment " excuse. Second issue is with the test itself. They gave me a coffee cup for urine collection. Really?! I've never seen that before. Also the bathroom sink was out of order so there was no place to wash hands after a urine sample collection. This is just unacceptable. I just hope I never have to go back there again.

This "FIVE-Start" is for Ms Dina!!!!!I hope my post will help someone like me out there who have thin veins like me, suffered by being poked more than one time with nothing done and had to go back to redo, that kind of nightmares. If you're looking for the best Phlebotomist nearby with similar experience, hope this post helps you!I used to go to Sunnyvale site with Arlene for years; Arlene's one of the best, too.; but I was told by the ladies there that Arlene's no longer working there, I was so uneased again with annual blood test work.Then, I found good review online about Ms. Dina's great service (thanks a millions for someone who's willing to post a good review and indicate who is the best there, it's super helpful, so I am doing the same now to help others searching as well), I made an appointment with Dina.Ms. Dina's service is excellent, I am super happy that I found Dina at Los Gatos site. Dina she really took times to find my thin veins, gently drew few tubes of my blood, with no bruise whatsoever, it looks like nothing happened on my hand. I am so thankful for her cares with excellent skillset and great service. No more drama on blood draw! Big thanks to Dina! God Blessed!

They let me book an appointment during office hours, but when I got there, there was no one there. I had to go to a different place across on the other side of San Jose that was open. Gas is not cheap, so this was a very expensive trip for me.

I like to write a review for Ms Dina, although I have an appointment I am glad wait for the next that Ms Dina can draw the blood 3 tubes for me, believe or not, that was such a wonderful experience: no bruise whatsoever, it looks like nothing happened on my arm. She gave me the guidance to get the stool sample in such a detail instruction that shows her excellent services, I am so much appreciated!

Super clean/hygienic, friendly, polite and efficient. Went in as a walk in with no appointment late afternoon and with my paperwork ready, it was no problem - I was chancing if it'd be busy and I accepted that it may be and I'd have to wait or come back with an appointment. There was one person there doing the testing but also covering the front desk, I had read the other reviews but it was simply not the hassle described - that guy had everything running so smooth. There were others there waiting and the queue went quickly. I'm not too bothered by a queue, especially as I had no appointment but any concern for a testing place should be the cleanliness and this was perfect, everything was clean with scrubs, gloves and masks worn etc. and it was well organized. I sometimes have issues finding my veins and I've had a lot of blood tests already so I have plenty of experience of having this done. The guy there did a great job and got it first time. One tip for anyone going in for blood tests, go in very well hydrated, it makes it much easier for you from my own experience, the guy didn't say anything, I just know this and I forgot but they still did a great job. I also forgot I needed a urine test, again, staff was super patient and friendly with me when they didn't need to be as I was at fault for not being hydrated and not holding my bladder. I get why having only one person there can be a hassle but that one person has to do the blood draw, testing, covering the front desk along with anything else and people forget what that can be like to work short staffed when it's unexpectedly busy and then deal with someone like me who made zero preparation for their tests coming in off the street on a whim. Overall a positive experience for me, they did a great job.

Second time too many to try this option. Deserve minus one star but sadly, I do not have that prerogative. 1st visit several years ago the front desk was so rude to my teenage daughter and me that I had not returned until today as nobody else was open on a Saturday in my insurance plan. On line hours (also confirmed with phone call) until 1P with walk in availability. I arrive prior to noon (fasting per requirement) and sign in. Someone had just scratched out in handwriting "appointments only." Office had a few people waiting and nobody at front desk. (One client told me I needed an appointment.). I walk to my car for some water and return a few minutes later to an empty waiting room and a young woman at the front desk looking very bored. She asked me if I had an appt. When I told her no, she told me to make an appt for Monday as she was "too busy" to draw my blood! I verify that they are in fact open until1P and listed as open for walk-ins, and she repeated yes, that is true but due to her heavy workload (with checking her Instagram?) she didn't have time! I will fast the entire weekend before I will give this lousy office my business again!

I like the service here. I made an appointment on-line, 4 people already there waiting, I also signed my name on the registration booklet, I was called ahead of 1 person, not long waiting, the drawing 2.5 tubes blood was very smoothly, no leaking, no bumps, I am happy here. While was asking to do 3 stool sample, Ms Dina was such a kindness and detail lady she taught me how to get the stool sample and what not to eat for better test result, that for so many years nobody tell me that, I am very happy with the service.

Laboratory does not open in time almost every Saturday, during the last three visits, once the employee reached without keys, other time 10 mins late and today it’s been 20 mins already and no one has showed up yet post 8 am open time
