Been seeing Yumiko for close to 10 yrs now. She's the best and true to her craft. We met her thru a referral named Oreo who we ran into while shopping - he was a good lookin Shih Tzu so I had to ask who's your groomer. and just learned he's also still with Yumiko and recently turned 15; that shows the level of loyalty backed by quality service that Yumiko provides

Such a great place to get my dog cleaned and her fur trimmed. The owner is kind, gracious, and remembers pets and works their distinct personalities so well. My dog was never a fan of water or pet grooming paces before this place, and her fear now is alleviated after several worth while trips to spa for pets. Even when I lived in San Francisco, it was worth it to coordinate a way for her to get cleaned and groomed at spa for pets. My dog is always looking her cleanest and sharpest after leaving. I have never had an issue with anything here. The staff is transparent about pricing, communicative, and trustworthy with animals. Which is worth mentioning since other places aren't necessarily like that at all. Grateful to be a customer here!

Great place! I’ve taken my cats here for grooming many times. They give good care for your pets and they have been a staple in this area for many years. They greet you warmly and are so happy you are visiting them. Very gentle grooming here. Ample parking spaces here and handicap spots. They are open early and they always make a time for your pet quickly and will even go to great lengths to get the pets in as soon as you need grooming or care. You can have excellent trust in this wonderful spa for pets. The pets always come out looking better, feeling better and they look happier, too!

Do you really want to entrust your pet to a 'spa' that never answers its phone? They (apparently) get back to you only when it's convenient for them. What a message to send to potential customers. I passed.

I've brought my Maltese here several times. He always looks beautifully groomed when done. My issue is the pricing. I don't mind paying $100.00 for grooming but every time I've come Yukimo changes the price! She stated he had a flea and she had to give him a flea dip. She charged me $178.00! She should of called me first. I am not happy with this sort of undercover pricing. It's not good business practice. Don't come here unless you want to get ripped off

$85.00 for a nail trim and bath. Ridiculous. Charging me $30.00 handling fee for my chihuahua? I do NOT recommend this place. I had my dogs nails trimmed here 3 years ago and I was charged $20.00 no handling fee. No mention of this when I made the appointment in person. Steer clear of this business, their rates are made up on the spot after the service. The business owner needs to DO BETTER!

Spa for Pets has been a lifesaver for me an my dog. Not only is the grooming excellent, but they are very accommodating as well. My dog is leash reactive so if he sees other dogs he'll go wacko. Spa for Pets worked with me to find times that were less busy. Thank you!

Took our cat in to get his nails trimmed - because he puts up such a fight at home! We handed him over and he was back 1 min later with perfect short nails. He seemed quite content and not upset at all! Worth the $20 - great deal :)

I just want to note that even now, 5 years later, I still only go to Yumiko for grooming! Olive (almost 8 years old poodle mix) always looks great no matter who grooms her from her team. Olive is very sensitive to dog grooming and other places are unable to handle her because she gets very stressed out. It can take a long time for Olive to be finished but I know it's because Yumiko gives Olive periods of rest so Olive isn't too stressed out!! Yumiko is very caring of Olive's emotions! I couldn't ask for a better groomer.

it really hurts me to read some of the reviews that are not a 5 star review, I know Yumiko and her staff, they do such a great job on my Happy, she gets a braid on her long hair at the top, she has no mats when she leaves, her comb outs are done with a very gentle manner, and she likes going there, (and she is a fussy dog). Ok, I'm partial but this place really does a great job.

Spa for Pets is terrific at grooming and boarding pets. The owner is an expert at getting your dog to look his or her best. She knows great grooming techniques. She has always made our poodle look terrific.
