I recently moved to this area and needed a hair salon. I wanted non-toxic hair color so I searched for that and have been so pleased with Marisa and this salon! My hair color has been great and thankfully odor free! Also I love all the Aveda products they use in the salon. I’m very happy with the healthy organic products as well as the cuts and styling of my hair!

The stylist is talented, made my hair in tip top condition but pricey and each session was well over 200$ (touchup, and or all color) if you want a haircut comes to 260$ or so easily. The drive and cost of the appointments, plus she gets booked up very fast and not much room to reschedule, I found a place for 75$! organic color and I will save tons of money, so going there, and super excited to do so. At times, I found the stylist to be a bit short, and not very warm, and I prefer to work with someone is more considerate and patient with clients.

I’ve been going to Soleil Salon for over 5 years. Marisa is absolutely fantastic and very talented. I highly recommend Soleil Salon, especially for people who want to avoid the harshness of chemicals used in the hairdressing industry.

Organic and non toxic products, combined with Marisa's skills for doing hair - need I say more?
I can only recommend Soleil Salon. Marisa really knows my hair, and I always leave the salon with a satisfying result.
As an added bonus the salon and Marisa have a very warm and accommodating atmosphere. There is time for a chat, coffee if you like. It makes every visit a nice break in your everyday life.
Soleil Salon sells the Aveda products they use in the salon, and are happy to help you find the best product for your exact hair type.

I have been having my hair cut and colored by Marisa for many years. My hair has never looked better. I love that the color products she uses are organic and not toxic and that my color looks natural. The way she cuts my hair is awesome. I appreciate that she takes her time and I always leave loving my hair. She’s great at talking thru what I want and gives suggestions to help with care and styling. She has always been easy and reliable with scheduling and is lovely to work with.

I have been going to Soleil Salon for years and could not be happier. Marisa always guarantees my hair looks gorgeous and makes the time I spend with her one of my favorite things to do. I look forward to it each and every time. Her products are outstanding, and I am so excited she offers Aveda to her clients. Last but not least, the experience of her Los Gatos Salon is like a retreat away from the hectic world of Silicon Valley.

Wow! This salon is amazing! If you are looking for a spot that uses organic products with integrity as well as very capable and talented stylists, this is the spot! I came in to see Marisa after some other stylist bleached my hair. The other stylist bleached my virgin hair and then dyed the top part darker, which created a line through my hair. It also turned a little orange. I was desperate for someone to fix it and knew Marisa could help me with it. She did an amazing job and fixed the line in my hair which was bleached, she blended it beautifully. I am so happy with the color of my hair and will definitely keep going back to Marisa. She alway uses organic products which I love.

Marisa is an amazing expert in both cut and color. She uses a peroxide free color that is organic and permanent. I’ve been seeing her for three years now and I receive compliments daily on my hair color. I highly recommend if you are health minded and conscious.

Marisa was awesome, I was always curious about this salon and since I go to Los Gatos frequently especially for my threading and waxing, it would be great to find a great stylist and colorist near by. I happened to book a appointment the same day and Marisa squeezed me in. A lovely charming place, on the upper floor, with more than enough parking. Marisa uses organic product's and gave me a wonderful haircut, with some highlight's, the outcome was fantastic, my hair look's and feel's wonderful and I also bought her product's to keep and maintain the quality of my hair, I will be sure to return! I also love her personality, I just want to go to a place and 'relax' and the last thing I want to do is chit chat throughout my appointment which is very exhausting to be talking throughout a 2+ hour appointment. Marisa is friendly conversational but not overly chatty! and this is much welcomed, and appreciated, since this is my day to relax and escape. Overall I am very happy with her services, and will be a regular moving forward. Thank you Marisa you are just super.

When I first made an appointment with Marisa, I was hesitant and very nervous because I had never used natural hair dyes before. I had done everything you can think of to my hair and it was in poor shape. My natural brunette color had grown out, the middle portion of my hair was a muddied reddish tint and the ends were disastrous. I was hopeful but very unsure about natural products working with my over-processed hair. As soon as Marisa had me in her chair, I knew I was in good hands. She explained everything to me and stepped me through what she thought would work best for my request. At this point I simply wanted to blend the rest of my hair with my roots so I could let it grow out naturally and let it get more healthy. The first attempt was beautiful and exactly what I wanted. After a week, I had washed it a couple times and it had already begun fading. BEFORE I even had a chance to call the salon, Marisa had already followed up with me through text asking how the color was working. She booked an appointment with me right away to fix the issue, quickly corrected the color (at no charge) and it has now been months of constant compliments and matching hair! Not only is Marisa an excellent stylist, she is an excellent communicator, making for good conversation in the chair and consistent check-ins after appointments. I highly, highly recommend her. Oh, and though Marisa never pushed product like some stylists do, I was so impressed with the leave-in conditioner that she used in my hair that I got a bottle to take home. I use it daily and recommend it to anyone with fine and curly hair. It doesn't weigh it down at all and it feels soft and natural.
