  I have many of my fondest memories here. 3am visits. Running into people from high school. Playing Monopoly with a friend by the elevators.
  
  Thanks for your accessibility with food and alcohol many years ago, when I was a troubled teenager.

  I will never come back to this location. I was waiting at the Deli department for a very long time. A lady named Raquel passed by me twice while making eye contact with me and she never came to help me nor did she ever communicate to me that she would be helping me or that she was busy. Instead, she was in the back with some other ladies and not one of them ever acknowledged me either. Why are these people even hired for ?? Also, it’s very unsanitary to be eating the food while prepping it!! I don’t think this place enforces any rules!!

  I am writing to express my disappointment in the service provided at our Los Gatos location on April 13th. Normally, I wouldn't send my husband, who is unfamiliar with grocery shopping protocols, but on this day he took on the task. Unfortunately, his experience at the self-checkout, particularly while purchasing a bottle of wine, was far from welcoming.
  
  The manager on duty approached my husband with a remark suggesting he should have known better than to attempt to purchase wine at the self-checkout. Following this, he was informed in a tone that was less than professional, to "chill out" and that he needed to buy two bottles instead of one, without a clear explanation.
  
  As customers, we expect to be treated with courtesy and respect, regardless of our familiarity with store policies. The interaction was not only unprofessional but also left us feeling unwelcome and unlikely to return for future shopping needs.
  
  I also want to share another unprofessional behavior by the same manager, which raises concerns about professionalism at this store. My husband witnessed the manager was juggling lemons and limes in the produce section, engaging employees in this behavior rather than focusing on customer service. This display was not only inappropriate but also indicative of poor managerial conduct and a lack of proper training. Such actions can detract from the shopping experience and undermine the professionalism expected at a reputable store like Safeway.
  
  I believe that everyone deserves to be treated with respect and kindness. I hope this feedback will be taken into consideration to improve the training and customer service.

  I like that the location is close to Tesla supercharger. You can do your shopping while charging the car. I was here for wine gift bags. They were about $7 per bag.

  I had the worst experience at Safeway today. I was picking up milk cartons and was accosted by an employee who rudely asked me to take just one packet and return the rest. I was neither emptying the shelf nor was there any policy against taking multiple cartons. I walked away to the counter, checked with another customer service representative that I was allowed to buy more than one carton, and checked out, all the while shaking! Never have I faced such a situation in any other grocery store.

  I like how this Safeway is open 24 hours, I can come here when I wake up very early and do my shopping. Check the safeway app, it has great deals! This store is clean and well-stocked with produce and meat. The bakery is also huge and well stocked and checkers are polite. Nice grocery.

  Half the time I buy ice cream/frozen desert From this location I can tell it has been fully melted and refrozen, this has been going on for like 6 years. If you have experienced this it is absolutely disgusting and inedible. You can't exactly check the state of the ice cream in the store so it's a gamble everytime I want to buy desert as to whether it'll be normal or ill need to throw it out right after I open it. It's unfortunate and something I am no longer willing to gamble on. I've probably spent $20k at this store and today was the final straw, going to Whole Foods from now on. Get it together safeway!!

  Safeway is absolutely a better, overall store than Lucky's is. Taking the time to make this review should tell you that I'm a fan of this supermarket!

  Underground parking is a plus. This is a Safeway. Clean and fairly new.
