Chau is the kindest, most thorough pharmacist on Earth! This Safeway pharmacy brings you right back to the old school neighborhood pharmacy feeling. So grateful for her and everyone else who works here!

Visited on a Saturday around 230pm. The pharmacist was nice enough but clearly overwhelmed they only had 1 staff member there and she had to give covid vaccines on top of all the usual work. She said on the weekends this is normal. I also called beforehand and the phone was not answered. She told me she had not answered a phone call the entire day because of how busy she was. That's crazy! Of course service was very slowly because of this. Management need to buck up and hire more staff on the weekends.

Terrible experience. Went to get my booster on my one free day but was refused because it would be 6 months exactly tomorrow not today. Explained that is not at all what the CDC said since I'm an expert but was told I was wrong and refused the vaccine.

Laughable service, they can get even slower than CVS or Walgreens. Commonly they'll be late, for instance, after lunch. Give yourself 15 min as buffer at least. Also, depending on the medication, they have the time delay safe (which is fine) but then what should be a 5 min wait can become longer because, customer service.

Arrived when it opened on a Sunday morning and was the first person. Asked the lady if she was could take walk-ins for covid vaccine shots, since my dad needed one. She had al attitude at the start, and her explanations were incoherent. When I asked questions to clarify what she said, her attitude got worse. Jeez, all I asked if my dad could get a shot that day as a walk-in. Lose the attitude. And I was the first person of the day.

Bad service. I was near the counter @4:55 and they checked my prescription however @5 they said they closed and shut it in front of my face. I were not able to buy prescribed medications.

my friend had notified the manager of employees not wearing their face masks over their noses. His response to my friend was, "If you don't like it you can shop somewhere else." Aside from complete disregard for customer service, this isThis is completely inappropriate in view of the Covid-19 situation as they INSIST all shoppers have a mask on to shop. My husband was even barred from entering to just buy flowers right at the door. Butchers are rude and won't look up or help me. Asking about the frozen turkeys they had a surplus in the back. I was told no. But my husband goes in 3 hours later and asked and got one. They're just lazy and not into customer service. Won't help a woman, but will help a man. Calling corporate for email address won't work. They don't have any only one mailing address to customer service in AZ.

I have been shopping at this Safeway for about 15 years. Since the COVID-19 pandemic I have been shopping for my elderly mother and my wife's parents. I appreciate that they have been disinfecting the shopping carts and have one way isles in the store. The have a sign at the entrance asking customers to wear masks to help prevent the spread of the virus which I always do. The last few times I shopped I noticed multiple employees not wearing masks or wearing them incorrectly. The man stocking meats didn't have one on and seemed to have a cough which made me uncomfortable. I plan on going back this weekend. If I observe this again, I will find another store to shop at from now on.I was there again this past Saturday morning and 3 employees were not wearing masks and the cashier had one on but it was not covering his nose. Sorry Safeway, I feel you are putting your customers in harms way. I'm done. Good thing we have other options!

I love this safeway, i will drive the extra 15 minutes to come here. I had a lovely time checking out the fresh produce and everyone was so friendly. Except when i was checking out at the self check out. I casually asked an attendant a simple question unrelated to the store and she was not only rude to me but to my husband. I entered so happy after a nice hike and i left really irritated. 4 stars because of the other friendly staff.

Fish dept. was unhelpful and I ended up not buying it, was overcharged for mother's day flowers and they wilted by the next morning, return to thin plastic bags puts us a more risk as Covid is viable longer on plastic than paper and the bags broke going home.

So I got an E-gift card here from a friend. They won't let me use it, because I didn't "print it out". Are you freaking kidding me?! Not everyone owns a printer, and these days everything is digital. There'd "nothing" they can do. SMH! Give me a break.

They randomly decide that they will cancel all delivery orders on the regular. They won't bother to let you know or anything, and they may or may not keep the money you paid for your groceries. Not their problem. So, you're super lucky if they show up and don't charge you for stuff they never delivered. Getting your money back routinely requires that you wait on hold for over 30 minutes or more. No apologies issued and no compensation given. They never answer emails. Make no mistake: they're doing you a favor.

My wife came home distraught as she was verbally assaulted by a middle-aged man in this store. No one deserves to be called racial slurs ever. Staff and management did not do anything and after reading these reviews I can see how poor their customer service is. There are more yelp reviews of a man harassing women in this store. Would not recommend women shopping here alone. It is not safe.

Today, I went to Safeway to pick up a prescription Santa Clara County is under a Shelter in Place directive with social distancing being observed for essential trips. All of the citizens in the store were observing the practice, but the employees were not. An employee came and stood right next to me. I am in a high risk category for COVID 10 and asked him to stay 6 feet away, per the recommendation. He ignored me. I asked 2 more times, and he eventually moved away. I later heard him talking about my request to other employees and laughing. When I checked out, I asked the checker if they were observing social distancing and he said "No,we can't." I asked if they had been instructed in safety precautions, and he proceeded to minimize the virus and state "Just wash your hands" I went home and called the manager, who was dismissive and rude. You must do better, Safeway, for the health and safety of your customers.
