Susan is amazing! It’s so hard for me to find someone that can cut my curly hair but Susan always just knows what to do. She’s a true artist that never disappoints. I always leave her salon feeling like a million bucks.

Ive been with Susan since I was a teenager and at 30 she's still my person. Id make appointments and trips back to the bay just to see her. She's talented and so knowledgeable. Best blonde work out there. Will know exactly what u want and be able to keep the integrity of your hair. My mother has been coming to see her just as long and makes the trip from Utah. Shes that good. A color/cut Goddess. Anyone would be lucky to have her as your stylist!

I left separate messages for any stylist at Phoenix Hair Salon with the anticipation of hearing back with a return call or VM.No one contacted me to discuss desired services nor set an appointment.Leaves me no option to experience this respected Los Gatos Salon.

I love this salon!! The salon itself is so cute on the inside and everyone is so friendly. Claudia is the absolute best, she does really high quality work (I get icy blonde highlights) and I always leave the salon looking great! 10/10 would recommend her and this salon.

I am writing an update to the review that I wrote back in January. In February I got the worst flu I have ever had in my life felt awful, couldn't breathe, all night coughing, aches, chills, the works. However I could still look at myself in the mirror and feel beautiful! Even now on day 60-something of isolation and my hair is about all that shows between the mask and sunglasses, I still feel like myself! Brittney has a way with dying blonde hair! I don't know what kind of magic voodoo she worked but I have never had a dye job last so long and grow out so well! I cannot wait until all of our fears with COVID-19 are over so I can go back and have her re-work her magic BEST HAIR OF MY LIFE, and I should know I have been dying my hair blonde for about 15 years now!

Brittney Baker at Phoenix Hair Salon is awesome!!! I’ve been coming to Brittney for sometime now and she always does a great job in cutting my hair, styling it, and now coloring it. Just had my hair colored yesterday and it’s absolutely what I wanted and she did a fantastic job. When Brittney cuts my hair I literally don’t need to do much to style it. I just shower, blow dry a little bit and I’m out the door. Takes less than 10 minutes. I would definitely recommend Brittney to anybody and have to all of my friends.

When I came to Phoenix my blonde highlights were dated - they were chunky, brassy, and the color was uneven. I have dark brown hair naturally, so it can be difficult to get that creamy blonde tone that is so pretty. Susan’s skill is unparalleled- she is an expert colorist who takes her time to make your hair perfect. She will not compromise the health of your hair- so if you are looking for someone that will say yes to a picture and send you home with your hair about to break off she’s not for you. However if you are looking for someone who will protect your hair, do beautiful work, and be a pleasure to be around, you’ll have a stylist for life!

I've been coming here for about 8 years, and hate the thought of someone else touching my hair. I've moved back to the east coast, so it's inevitable. Susan is talented, conscientious, and a perfectionist in the best way possible. She always knows what my hair needs, and is cut to the chase honest. I have seriously wanted to leave there before she was done styling, because I was running out of patience but she will not here of it. If it isn't right, it isn't finished. The salon is small, and cozy, and has a very relaxed, neighborhoody feel. My hair has never been healthier, because they use high quality, all natural products, which is important to me.

I moved to California one year ago from Pennsylvania where I saw the same stylist for 15 years. Once in CA, I immediately booked an appointment with a local hair salon to have my hair colored. My hair was so damaged that it was crunchy and the wrong color. I then tried a second salon and the stylist was unable to fix the issue. It wasn't until I met Jenny at Phoenix that my hair was restored back to it's original color and texture. Jenny spent the time to listen to my past experiences and she was able to figure out what went wrong and brought my hair back to life. I would recommend Jenny for any of your hair needs.

I love how the hairstyles talk to you make you fill that you are one of the family. I got my hair done and it is know manageable. I love how my hair looks like that I have spent hours to make it look good only a hour with everything I did to it today. Call and make a appointment with Sam. She is the best.

Shaida is a miracle worker! She performed a serious operation on my hair that was an atrocity after an entire summer of camping and DIY attempts. This meant her challenge was dealing with hot roots, lavender coloring over hair that Shaida delicately referred to as "compromised," hair that a year prior had been fried off in a mistaken all over platinum process by a professional. Also, I had been growing out an undercut for a year as well, so her challenge was to fix that color, not burn anything else off, and connect the different haircuts. It was magic what she did to bring me back to a happy place with my hair. By my follow up visit months later, Shaida did a gorgeous job by bringing me to a neutral blonde, with the cutest, most stylish haircut. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a great, easy to be around, talented stylist that knows her stuff.

This place is amazing. So cute and hip. The conversation is always lively and the products Davines are sooooo good. I have been coming here for about 4 years and love it. My stylist Shaida does an amazing job. Always creates the perfect style, somehow takes the latest trends and translates them into a great traditional style for me. Shaida makes sure to not damage my hair when doing extreme things like lifting black to blonde. She's sensible: "Let's take 6 months to do that, young lady." She lifted my hair to a beautiful caramel and brown for summer. She ashed it out for winter with toners...she trims it and keeps it stylishly long and healthy. I would recommend her to anyone. She just did extensions on my hair for a trip to Europe to add a bit of pizzazz and they looked so gorgeous!!!!! I got double takes everywhere I went with my gorgeous flowing hair.
