“An oasis of peace in San Jose. Its so blissful to live here. There are giant redwoods, blooming flowers, immaculately clean pool, jacuzzi and a fitness center. They could have easily added more floors and made the property more crowded but they rather preferred preserving the "resort-like" ambience. While the maintenance team is passionate about their job, Luu is the star of the show. Theresa-the property manager is so courteous and always willing to help with a smile. I lived here for 2 years and was bummed to move out due to change of job to another city. I'd definitely live here again if I am back to San Jose.”

Some resident here are very arrogant.. I was loading few thing in my car and left it on street for 10mins(was constantly visiting) an arrogant resident came by and asked to turn off the blinker and stating passing racist comments. When confronted, she started accusing me for stealing her stuff from her car. I was completely shocked. May be is because I caught her peeping into my car.”

“We've lived here comfortably and pretty safely for 3 years.
As others have pointed out, Ray on the maintenance team keeps this place running smooth! He's always prompt, professional, kind and friendly. He will fix whatever problem has presented itself AND take the time to say hi to your dog. Things malfunction, it's a normal part of a home. But Ray gets things back to working order quickly- even if it's a weekend. I can't imagine this place without him here!
Despite others' complaints, the rent here seems on par for the area. It was sort of mid-range when we moved in. Spacious storage wise and parking wise. Our unit was renovated before we moved in and it has held up relatively well. We had a small number of ants once. The complex has pest control here weekly anyway and they came by and took care of it the next day. Haven't seen an ant since.
The noise of renovations around the complex can be loud especially if you're near one of the large dumpsters they fill and empty almost daily. There's also debris around these dumpsters constantly (broken glass etc) But it is something we were warned about before moving in. They tried to start tossing things into the dumpster around 7am one weekend but all it took was me standing in my doorway, telling them it was too early and they left.
Our catalytic converter was stolen from our spot in the parking lot over night once but I know that's a common thing. If packages are left outside the mailbox they will be stolen. The mailboxes themselves have been broken into a couple times too. But Justin at the leasing office holds packages for us now! He'll also come pick up a package from your door and hold onto it for you if you're away. Super friendly guy. Always around to answer questions and help out. We did install home security cameras etc for peace of mind but I dunno, I think that's just par for being in the bay. We've felt generally pretty safe here. I think it might have something to do with our unit being further away from El Camino and more nestled into the subdivision, but who knows.
The neighbours & staff are friendly, there's a nice park nearby, the place is very dog friendly (except no pets allowed in the common area which kind of sucks...) but it's close to work and the climbing gym.. if we've gotta be in the bay this place is good enough for us.”

Specially Manager Anu has been friendly, very helpful, nice person and she is very prompt in getting any maintenance issues fixed in time. Cesar from maintenance team is also very quick and helpful. Common areas are regularly cleaned. Lot of parking spaces and very close to market.”

“The place is nice and the staff that have been here for years have been great. One of the best parts about living here used to be the community events like the holiday parties and monthly breakfast where we met a lot of our neighbors. Sara, Toni and the rest of the staff clearly put a lot of effort into those, however the events have stopped which I guess was probably a money saving move. There’s also no more free overnight parking for guests, which is annoying. Other than that, the maintenance has always been speedy and effective, and the location next to Whole Foods and a short walk from San Pedro is unbeatable.”

“Manager Justin is nice and highly responsible at work with a positive & sincere attitude. She addressed the plumbing issue at my unit even on the weekend (she coordinated with the plumber and got it fixed though it was not a working day). She is so friendly with children & my daughter likes her very much as she always wishes her with a smile & shows a kind of affection. Also, she greets us nicely with the most positive attitude whenever we see her in the Miramar premises. We noticed that Her plans look good with respect to improvements at Miramar (Gym, taking care of timely tree cutting, cleaning, addressing car parking lots' lights fixes, plan of replacing old stuff in old units to make tenants comfortable, etc.). Compared to earlier management, the current manager's working style looks good. We feel she is giving her best to Miramar in her possible limits. We sincerely appreciate her working style. Just coming here from a Condo in Santa Clara and having all the amenities of Condo life, which include gated entrance, garage, in unit washer/dryer, dishwasher, deck, pool, hot tub, gym, great maintenance crew and super awesome management (shout out Jenny & Lina) If you are looking for place to dwell for a reasonable price in the land of crazy rents THIS IS THE PLACE!PS. after living at 300 Railway Apartments for a year and a half, I have nothing but great things to say. This place truly feels like home—clean, organized, and incredibly safe. The location is unbeatable, close to downtown, and the neighbors create such a welcoming atmosphere.
Brenda, the leasing office manager, is a real gem. She’s not just professional but also incredibly kind and treats residents like family. Any maintenance requests I've had have been fixed faster than I could expect. The pool area is always clean, and there’s a fresh, pleasant smell throughout the building.
In the year and a half I’ve lived here, I’ve never had a single complaint. Everything has been smooth, from the apartment itself to the management. I can confidently say that 300 Railway is one of the best places to live, and Brenda plays a huge part in that.
