The vets themselves are good, but it's way overpriced, and recently they've begun offering different levels of service based on "membership." That's distasteful to me. One animal isn't less important than the other simply because their family can't pay more. I did look into the membership, and decided to pass. It's a contract with monthly payments for at least 1 year. In context of the jacked-up prices, the value offered isn't actually very much. It was disappointing. So the customer service that was usually available to all clients is now behind a paywall. I was dismayed to find that basic services I used to get suddenly went away. Switched vets, unfortunately. Hopefully things change in the future.

A couple of years ago they had trouble with their computer system and sent out the wrong appointment time on the email reminder. When I arrived with the two dogs, they told me they could not see them because I was late. I had taken off work to make the morning appintments. They would not own up to to their mistake and were unapologetic. I was understandably angry, but kept it to myself. I argued in a professional manner. Being a foster I had brought many dogs to them over the past ten years. Some new, snotty, twenty something then insulted me and I gave her a piece of my mind. Now I am the bad guy. The vets are competent, but the staff is not! They were bought out a couple of years ago and are in a downward skid. The mangement is pompus and the the techs are too good to trim an old dog's nails. They are way over priced. Stay away!

Dr. Jessie Haestad is absolutely amazing. My pup has been treated at a couple other clinics in the area and Dr. Haestad has done more for my pup in a just a couple of weeks than other vets did in a year. She also has a warm & lovely demeanor. With her, my pup is in the best of hands.

Fantastic. Saved my cats life who was having big trouble breathing. She had fluid on her lungs, they took immediate action drained and drained the fluid. Further testing shows she has congestive heart failure. Put on meds for the rest of whatever time she has left in this world.

Adobe has been a fantastic resource and service provider for our puppy. They are available, reliable, and answer any question we have. They've made the process super easy, and we are so thankful for the work they do for our newest addition to the family.

This review is for Zoe R. She went above and beyond when processing my dogs health certificate to travel. Honestly, I have had issues with Adobe customer service in the past at the Los Altos location. This was my first time to Adobe South Bay, and Zoe was very professional and went above and beyond during our appointment.

Absolute rip off. Charged excessively high fees for basic services. When called to dispute was told it was my fault for not attempting to negotiate the charges at time of payment. Immediately filed a complaint. , they have a dedicated team member who will call you and tell you how stupid you are for paying your bill? and that it's your fault for agreeing to the charges even though they are not transparent on what the charges are until its time to pay. Zero chance of returning, find somewhere else.

Lots of other vets out there. It's time for a change. Remember when Adobe was the best service you could get? ( you'd pay for it of course ) The new management seems to have pulled the plug on AAHSB. Calling in an Rx refill has gone into a black hole, no quick appointments ( still premium price for what you can get ) The new vets are definitely not the same quality. Find a different clinic if you want good service. Update: they got back to me 10 hrs after I submitted the web form for a refill of a med for a chronic condition and said they can't refill until I get a well pet visit. I got the appointment after 30 min of hold, fighting the phone system and having a less than effective interaction with the desk person. The pharmacy tech was not helpful but I suspect that's institutional.

I always look for a doctor who is knowledgeable, but also has a great bedside manner. I definitely found that in Dr. Blackwolf. I've been going to Adobe for years and have always felt so confident in her expertise and comfortable communication. I've heard the other doctors are very good,?too. It's definitely worth 5stars plus!

I can no longer recommend Adobe as I have for many years in the past. Their service has gone downhill quickly. Our favorite vet is retiring, and I can see why. They no longer accept new patients. They have stopped providing off-hour emergency services. They no longer permit visits for a nail trim by a tech. Their pharmacy prices are outrageous, and they no longer provide electronic approval of medications to third-party pharmacies. Dealing with their brusque and uncaring "Customer Experience Manager," Cindy, can only be described as a "nightmare experience." Her hypocritical replies to some reviews here are laughable given her behavior. Adobe is now just another vet clinic, and not a very good one at that. We are moving to a new vet - our pet is too valuable to entrust to a failing veterinary business.

I brought my dying rabbit here and my regular doctor, Nakamura, was not available, so I saw the next available doctor. Instead of addressing the issue that I thought he was dying, she examined his eyes and prescribed expensive medicine. Then mentioned at the very end that he was a senior rabbit and might die. So why are you prescribing meds that will not help a dying rabbit? She should have just told me up front and discussed next step options. Instead she lead me to believe there was still hope. I felt this was so heartless for the doctor to be only concerned with extracting more money from me than necessary. He died later that week. I was so horrified it took me years to write this.

They killed our beloved guinea pig, Nutmeg. They failed to diagnose a mouth infection, they told us she wasn't underweight (when we insisted she was), they left us waiting for hours, didn't respond to emails, then finally recommended "immediate" dental surgery to help her tooth problem but then tried to postpone it because they were too busy, she then waited all day for a surgery (no updates, no texts) and then the surgeon at the end of this horrific week tells us she died under anesthesia because she was emaciated and had an infection. I spent over $2000 there over repeated visits to try to help our sweet guinea pig (she was only 2). Don't send your beloved pets here.

I was previously with Adobe of Los Altos. When Adobe came to Los Gatos now where I live, I was pleased. The care and service is good and have no complaints. However, on two visits, the fees charged are now causing me to write this review. A simple rabies shot is about $23-$35. Adobe charges $60. A previous vaccination resulting in two trips was $180 compared to about $90. Understand building in your profit, however, when is overcharging good customer service?

Oh spare the world your waah waah it's COVID killing our business! Boo hoo. Jennifer Aya Koga, DVM, Lic. 10061, and Brian E. Maxwell, DVM, Lic. 13368, have had 15 months to adapt their businesses to COVID-19 and they are still a wreck. With Ashley the Wicked Word that Rhymes with Witch bashing callers over their heads with her broomstick, one would think they could at least sell circus freak show tickets. We wasted about one-half hour reading their South Bay website today, taking notes and jotting down questions while planning to call to discuss our cat becoming a patient. On the contact page was a tiny note that because they were overwhelmed from COVID they were not taking new patients, that did not match statements elsewhere. So we called and heard an outgoing voicemail that it is taking new patients but we must schedule through the Los Altos location. We called them and they said nope gotta call Los Gatos, just this here phone number. The Wicked Witch answered, chewed us out when we complained that their site and personnel are disorganized, cackled "Have a nice day!" and slammed down the phone. Well, isn't that special!? This pair's problems go way deeper than COVID. They simply do not know how to run a business.
