Excellent produce and pricing. I love the fresh baked breads, and they have a fine deli as well. The staff is kind and the place isn't packed with customers. It's a wonderful little market and has been in the neighborhood a long time.

I live nearby and would shop here from time to time for eggs, snacks, cheese, etc. on my way home. Prices are on the higher side, but I didn't really mind paying for convenience. I probably will not come here again after what I just witnessed. The cashier was coughing incessantly without making any effort to cover his cough. Coughing all over the conveyor belt, the register, the change, etc. A man in front of me expressed his discomfort, and the cashier just shrugged him off. I went with my gut instinct and put back my items before leaving empty handed. Will I ever know why that cashier was coughing so much without even bothering to mask up or cover his cough? Probably not. I was so disgusted, I really didn't want to stay long enough to find out.

Terrible service again. It's funny that cashier was the owner of the business and he was so rude with the person in front of me that I decided to leave all my grocery and just go to another store. Since I do not want to support such kind of business

I'll never be coming here ever again. Which is sad because I work right next door at subway. I went in for the first time today. Little Hollywood market. Just wanted snacks. First off, a disgusting puddle of water on the ground, look like leaking from freezer. 2nd. The rude older cashier lady with black hair. She was so rude. I said could you hang on a second while I unlock my card, and she sighed and started ringing the next guest. I was disgusted with her attitude. I went next door to CVS and got all 3 snacks I went into this stupid store for. I won't be returning, that old lady was so rude.

Overpriced but I frequent here cos it's close and I like to support small business. But that ends today, I picked up some ginger beer they had labeled for 1.59, cheaper than the other mixers of the same brand, figured it was on sale. It rang up for more, so I told her the mistake and walked over to the aisle. She said it was my responsibility to read their posted price tags while removing it and that this price was for the singles, despite it being in between several of the 4 packs of the same brand. No honey, it's not my responsibility to do anything in your store, but behave. I don't work here, YOU do. It cost you nothing to admit your own mistake, which I would have accepted and not returned the items but instead it's costing you my business from now on just to be a rude nasty unpleasant and unprofessional woman. Good luck keeping the lights on if this place isn't just a front to launder money cos they never card for alcohol and I've never seen more than 5 people inside at one time.

The selection at this store is pretty limited but if you're looking for some simple products to pick up this is a good location for that. They have parking at this location which is a plus. The prices are reasonable.

Owners need to make this a better and safer workplace for employees. The short blinds only cover the top window and not the middle one. The 8am morning sun was absolutely covering the face and eyes of your cashier and she just had to stand in that spot with the sun baking her. All to save a few $ on longer blinds to protect your employees?

Ive updated this review to be current every year now for the past 8 years since the owner of this grocery accused me, an 18 year old that had just moved to LA for the first time a month prior, of stealing a bottle of wine on camera, and threatened to call the police on me if I didn't give him my ID and pay $750 for an illegal third party security fee to try and get him to not report it to police. Claimed they had footage of me stealing which they refused to provide. Even having not stolen something, an older guy threatening an 18 year old with no idea how the world works like that is extortion. I'm glad I left without giving you all any information, and I'm glad I had access to legal advice letting me know what you all are doing is illegal. I don't know if ownership had changed, but based on the stories I hear it sounds like this practice is still a thing. Locals know this place is not operating well.
