I can't express how thrilled I am with my hanbok—it was truly the wedding dress of my dreams! From start to finish, the entire experience was nothing short of amazing. I flew to LA with the idea of creating a modernized hanbok for my wedding, and this shop exceeded all my expectations.
I wanted a hanbok that would transform after the ceremony, with the jeogori removed to reveal a stunning strapless dress. This required reimagining the underskirt and reinterpreting the traditional jeogori, and the owner of the shop was so inspiring. She walked me through various designs she had created, including a beautiful, gauzy white jeogori that added a delicate touch, subtly nodding to the Western white wedding dress. The details in the dress design are so thoughtful and felt like the perfect Korean-American blend.
With her guidance, I chose my favorite shades, and she helped me find the perfect combination that brought my dream dress to life. The final fitting was flawless, and she even went above and beyond by making adjustments to ensure everything was perfect. Even after the wedding, she has been incredibly helpful, especially with a few wine spills that needed some extra care with such delicate silk hanbok material.
If you're looking for a hanbok that blends tradition with modern elegance, this is the place to go. I couldn't be happier with my experience, and I highly recommend this shop!
(She also prepared multiple, more traditional hanboks for other women in my family, and those have also turned out beautifully. If I could, I would give 10 stars!).

Service was fantastic! Since I drove 1.5 hours from Orange County, the owner allowed me to pick up the dress earlier than usual. She listened to my needs and picked out the perfect size and color for me. What I really appreciated was her input and perspective on how to wear the dress and how to tie the front. Overall, I was very satisfied! On a side note, my 11 year old granddaughter wanted to try on a Korean dress and the owner was so delighted to let her try one even though she knew my granddaughter was not needing to rent a dress. She’s super sweet.

A Hidden Gem of Elegance
Nestled away in an unassuming Koreatown building, this dress shop is truly a hidden gem. From the moment I stepped through the door, I was enveloped in an atmosphere of traditional sophistication. The walls were lined from floor to ceiling in rolls of silk in every color imaginable. I thought places like this only existed in Korea.
The selection of dresses is simply divine, ranging from timeless classics to trendier pieces that still carry traditional charm. Each hanging garment reflects the impeccable taste and skill of the shop's owner. This sophisticated shop isn't like most others in Southern California - the focus is mainly custom work as opposed to selling or renting what's already been made.
What truly sets this shop apart is the kindness of the shopowner and her personalized service. She's not just a salesperson; she is a true stylist and designer, dedicated to helping you find and customize the perfect dress for your occasion. Her attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction are unparalleled. The craftmanship of our hanbok left me in awe, each fold and seam added beauty to the traditionally dyed silk fabric. From our first visit to the store, our follow-up phone calls, and our latest visit for our fitting, as well as her promise to continue after-care once our garments become worn, she left me knowing I'd be back in the again with my friends, siblings, and future children.
Her pricing is very fair. It cost me several hundred per rental at a neighboring shop for our mothers to have matching hanboks for our wedding. It was the going rate, and all comparable shops quoted the same. For about 3 times the rental cost, I was able to choose my own fabric and color scheme for my custom-tailored one-of-a-kind dress, which came out even more beautifully than I had imagined.
In short, if you're looking for a hanbok shop outside of Korea that combines impeccable custom handiwork with personalized service, look no further. This hidden gem is a must-visit for anyone in search of the perfect hanbok.

I was so happy to find this business. I not only rented hanbok for my daughters wedding, but they did the whole paebeck ceremony. The service was great and the attendants were very professional and knowledgeable. I highly recommend.

She let us explore the store and the different dresses that were there. She made recommendations for us and let us try on the hanboks as well. Eventually, we decided to rent our hanbok here. She was friendly and made us feel so comfortable. She made the effort to provide us with the prettiest hanbok and did not rush us whatsoever.
Before coming here, we visited other hanbok places in K-town but they turned us away because we didn’t make an appointment. They also told us to come back a month before my wedding and wouldn’t even allow us to look at the hanbok saying that these dresses would be out of style for my wedding. This definitely left a bad taste in my mouth.
