In the last year Walter's moved our relatives, which was a big job and they moved us, which was a small job. I oversaw both moves. Walter's is excellent and I highly recommend them. They are efficient, professional, through, trustworthy and deliberate. For our small job the cost was minimal. To keep cost down we did 85% of the packing. Walter's showed up with a truck and two guys and had all our boxes and furniture in-place at a new location within 3 hours. The final cost was lower than estimates I got elsewhere, including an app based solution. Nothing was damaged. They navigated a few narrow hallways with grace. On the big job Walter's packed, moved and stored-- and again was excellent. For example, after professionally and efficiently packing up a large quantity of items, we realized that we needed to move another bulky item out of the house and into the garage. Going above and beyond, Walter's packed it and moved it. Walter's was also excellent and patient while placing, and rearranging bulky items at the new location. Nothing was damaged.

This company over charge customers on materials on hrs when moving and sometimes charge for workers that even on the job. Had a bad experience with this company.

Had the pleasure of setting up a move that went very smoothly. Mike was very courteous, professional and thorough. Day of the move, we had Will, Frank and Jerry. They are an experienced crew that displayed the same consistency from Mike. All the guys worked hard and had great energy. I highly recommend Walter's for your moving/storage needs. Very few companies are left doing business the old fashioned way - proper, detailed, honest and value. Thank you, guys!

The owner of this company really made an effort to fix everything that went wrong during our move, including sending a repair man to our new apartment to fix all the damage to the walls and compensating us for the damage to our bed, which we were able to get fixed by the manufacturer and fixing the art work. His an upstanding man who clearly tries to run his business with integrity. I understand that things happen and stuff gets broken sometimes when you move and I appreciate that Mike personally made it a point to take care of everything for us. We don't plan to move again soon, but I hope to work with him again in the future and would recommend him to others.

Frank and his team were awesome, so efficient and really nice guys. The price was also great, way less than what I've paid for other moves. I would love to give this business 5 stars, but because they arrived 45 minutes late for our move, it couldn't be completed. The condo building we moved into wouldn't allow movers after 5pm so the job was left 80% done. I ended up moving the rest of the stuff/furniture myself.

Mike was very communicative, very helpful through the process and their price can't be beat. The crew was phenomenal, professional, efficient and careful. I would recommend this company to anyone looking to move. They will go above and beyond to make sure everything goes as smooth as possible. No one likes to move, but if you have to, make sure you hire Walter's Transfer to make it a much easier process.

They did an amazing job! I wasn't all the way packed, and they still got me all the way moved out in one day. They were so helpful to me and got all my items into my new place and also help me to set up as well.. they went above and beyond customer service, and I would use them again!!!

This company is without a doubt the best movers I have ever hired in over 20 years of moving. Frank and team were very professional and friendly. They all worked together phenomenally as a team. My husband was moving all his stuff into my house and they were great at helping us arrange all our belongings into a packed house. They had excellent problem solving skills and were able to fit furniture into spaces that appeared impossible to fit. They worked fast while making sure to handle all our items with care. I truly can't recommend them enough! You won't regret it.

We just had a TERRIFIC experience with Walter's, moving the contents of our home of over 25 years. Mike (the owner) was very responsive & thorough going over everything with us & answering all of our questions. His team of movers (Frank, Rafael, Wilson & Jay) worked very hard over 3 days to pack, load & move our stuff. Their packing work was amazing...especially everything in the kitchen. They were on time & incredibly helpful every day. The frosting on the cake? The actual cost came in slightly lower than the estimate...when does that happen? 5+stars, 4 thumbs up and 2 very happy people.

Very pleased with both the customer service & the price. I had a large house move and Mike came out in advance to determine the level of effort required. He gave me an estimated price for a certain number of hours / trucks / movers, which was $1,000 lower than a fixed rate I received from a competitor that I'd used before (which even included a supposed return customer discount). On the day of the actual move, the work was done even quicker than anticipated, which resulted in additional savings. The entire crew was very professional and friendly. My toddler son was hugging the movers at the end of the day!

Walter's overperformed and were the most reasonably priced movers we found. We had to move quickly (5 days), and I couldn't believe my good fortune when I called Mike Opus and he confirmed that they could facilitate packing and moving our home in that time. I asked for the A team and we definitely received it. Frank led his crew with grace, efficiency and patience. Everything arrived safely and quickly and we cannot speak highly enough of this choice for moving and organizational skillset. They didn't charge us for some extras and took the boxes away with them. Even though they worked a 13 hour day, all six of the team were vaccinated, wore masks, had good humor and made it happen.

We used Walters Moving for a short but a bit complicated of a move. Mike was great at explaining the pricing and process on the initial and follow up calls. Frank, Warren, and James were our movers and they were fantastic. Only part of the house was being moved and they did amazing getting everything out and into the new house right where we wanted them. It was raining on our move day and they did a great job wrapping everything that needed it and protecting our floors in the new house. They are very reasonably priced, responsive, on time, professional, and responsible. We will use them again for any future moves.

Over the past decade, I have used Walter's Transfer for two of my LA area moves and just last month used them for my cross-country move from LA to Chicago. Can't say enough about their LA moving crews (efficient, effective, kind) and working with the owner, Mike, has always been extremely easy and pleasantly straightforward. They have a great company and I've always been quoted a very fair price. I can be a little bit of an online-research-junkie when it comes to spending a lot of money on something I don't know much about and, after going down a weeklong rabbit-hole of researching interstate moves and movers (because estimates can range from $5K to $25K) I learned that interstate moves seem to be a different animal. Interstate moves are handled in practice very differently legally and in regard to regulations than intrastate moves, and there are a lot of disreputable movers who know that. Fun fact: few companies actually do their own interstate moves (even if they tell you they do), so that means nearly all reputable movers like Walter's pickup your things and hand them off to a different long-haul moving company to drive them for days cross-country and deliver them to your new home. So like anyone who has ever asked a friend to ask their friend to do something, the best one can aim for seemed to me to be finding a great local mover who has a very long relationship with a great long-haul mover. I chose Walter's and they had a great partner. Both companies had a huge number of Yelp 5-star reviews and an extremely small number of folks who gave them less positive reviews (each less than a handful) and those folks in their reviews seemed to me to have either forgotten the laws of physics, or time, or feel they were cheated someone. Personally, I didn't experience it and I didn't feel it. They did a great job - and their long haul partners did a great job. I couldn't give a more boring recommendation: "Use them. They were great."
