  Love this shop! Such a rare gem downtown with a well curated mix of contemporary, accessible fashion and vintage.
  
  The reworked clothing and vintage clothing is all done in house and is one of a kind - jackets, coveralls, jeans, etc. There’s also a unique selection of vintage tees, band tees, and vintage Levi’s of all sizes for days.

  This store is so cute. Has been in the neighborhood for over a decade and is a staple in the community. Def come here if you're ever in the area. Helpful staff and great finds :)

  Used to love this store and spent a lot of money here, would even recommend it to friends. Came back to check it out after I moved out of LA. Experience was very different. One gentleman was super nice and helpful, another woman working was nice then became very rude and suspicious of my friend and I for some reason?? She had her eyes locked on us and then proceeded to stand by the entrance. It was very off putting so I decided not to purchase anything. As we tried to leave she accused my friend of stealing and asked her to expose her pockets. Even after she did she proceeded to pat her down to be sure! I get the precaution to make sure no one is stealing but with her eyes locked on us it should have been obvious if someone took something? The fact that she thought it was ok to physically touch my friend without asking was a bit extreme. We were so taken back that we just walked out. The woman did apologize and said stealing has happened at the store before but I DO NOT think it was ok or appropriate for her to touch my friend even after she emptied her pockets like she asked, we were nothing but compliant and she took it a little too far. I will definitely not be returning.

  i contemplated even taking the time to write this review because it is clear that the "owner" of this establishment was rude out of pure cattiness towards another woman. that woman being me. had it been an employee being smug, i would have shrugged it off but when the owner of an establishment is crass, that's a big hell no for me. i've stopped in virgo sporadically since moving back to downtown and never had a problem until recently. clothes were always a hit or miss. this last time i walked in, i was a bit in a rush when i asked for some help finding an item. i asked a thin, short hair brunette woman behind the counter if she worked there as i needed help. seems that upset her as she replied with a loud "I'M THE OWNER." guess she's never heard about playing it cool and being humble. but i digress. luckily, she ended up leaving around the time i found a cute pair of shorts. i was about to purchase them when one a male employee informed me they don't take cash. i explained to him i had fraud on my card and was waiting for a new card in the mail. he was very sweet and accommodating and told me he'd hold them for me until my new card came in. fast forward to today i walked in asked if my hold was there. the owner said that she doesn't hold anything. i told her it was a man that held them for me, she then resumed yelling for said employee. luckily, i found the shorts in the back. i came up to the front to purchase them and again, it was him helping me. the tag on the shorts said $62. when the owner overheard the total, she told her employee that the price was wrong. we both looked at her like she was bollocks as the price was written on the tag. she went on to argue with him saying that she told him to mark them $72. as if that scene wasn't enough she went on to say in a childish manner "i don't feel like selling them anymore." (ummm... no class whatsoever) he already had my card so before she could say anything else, i told him to swipe it as i didn't care about the cost. everything happened so quickly that him and i both were taken aback at her behavior. i apologized to her employee for the way she behaved and for dealing with her poor attitude. he then apologized to me. both of us knowing why the apologies were taking place. p.s. as i came here to leave a review, i see that i'm not the only one that she's done this to. it seems the owner has a reputation of being a raging witch. so many things wrong with what happened earlier. never have dealt with an owner that is extremely unprofessional. 1, to argue with your employee in front of customers and 2, to change the price on the fly. the weird thing is, it's a lousy $10 difference. clearly she needed that $10. if it wasn't for how cute these shorts were i would have told her to go **** herself. i'm not one to get into arguments with human beings, but seems like she needs a taste of her own medicine. fortunately, i won't be the one to give it to her. yet, unfortunately, she'll end up harassing another customer due to her lack of professionalism and maturity. the juice isn't worth the squeeze in this store. spend your monies elsewhere. with love, a sagittarius

  I visited this store not long ago and let me tell you it had the worst customer service ever, they were selling a pair of Jean for 280$ whatttt!!!! So I was just looking around the store and saw a pair of normal Levi jean and asked for the price they said 280$ obviously it took me back a little because that price is literally ridiculous for where the shop was located. I took another look at the Jean and saw stain marks on it so I pointed it out to the worker and all they said was "it's vintage that's why". At least if you're gonna sell a pair of jeans for that price first clean. then the woman with the short black hair tells me "get the f*ck out of my store" I was literally told to get the f out of the store for speaking my mind, these people are literally a joke. Maybe if it was the streets of Beverly Hills the prices they were selling their clothes for would make sense but 9th street really??? Honestly learn some human decency and stop selling clothes for 3x the actual price!!!

  I just received my order of a vintage etc sign.I am thrilled to have found it and had great service from Virgo Vintage. I had this sign ad a teenager and it was a very special gift from my mother.I would recommend Virgo Vintage 100%

  Watch out for the thin burnette. Super rude & tells people you offend her with your opinion. Screamed that she put her blood sweat and tears into a tie dye sweatshirt which was actually pretty cool looking. Doesn't let you get word in edge-wise. Witch on wheels. I've never been treated so badly by a salesperson EVER! She needs a class in customer service!
