I love this spot. It's family owned and operated and they always have fresh produce. They carry most basic necessities as well. Honestly it was my go to during the pandemic. Reasonable prices and friendly owners. I walk to the discount store in the same plaza for any other needs. Parking can get tricky during traffic hours, other than that this is my go to neighborhood market.

I love this little market! The owners always make you feel comfortable and welcome you with small talk. This is definitely one of El Serenos gem.

Got DELICIOUS red and green pork tamales from here. They don't use lard in their masa which made the tamales lighter tasting and wonderfully tasty (I wouldn't have known had they not told me). $2 each (I think). They have a cheese one that apparently sells fast. I'll also be going back to try their breakfast burrito and whatever else they make and sell. It appears to be family owned and run. They also sell some basic groceries, dried beans in bulk bins. I'd call ahead and check to see if tamales and ready and available before heading over because a few times they weren't when we popped in. This will be my new neighborhood spot for homemade tamales.

This is a little mom, pop and son establishment with basic food stuff including fresh produce, rice beans and Mexican spices. They also have other basic things like dairy products, ice, junk food, toiletries, condoms and even pregnancy tests. They do not sell alcohol or cigarettes. They recently started offering some homemade hot food items and stayed open for Christmas to sell tamales. They are a really nice family and I am grateful we have a little local store within walking distance that offers real food items and not just a bunch of junk.
