Overall mid and expensive - so glad there’s vegan restaurants accessible in LA but it’s just all processed food. Average price is $15+

Ordered "The Loaded Fries". It was a bit spicy. The fries were loaded. I was not able to finish the meal in one sitting.

I came here on a Saturday to try Broken Mouth next door just like everyone else. I couldn't get my picky 15 year old teen to try broken mouth so we walked through every one of them. She didn't want pizza or Thai but when I said Carne asada fries, she went with that knowing it was actually bean curd. Wow! This place is a hidden gem. The fries were crispy. The fake cheese was like the real deal. The bean curd was thin and seasoned like asada. The salsa was good and fresh. Everything they put on it including the guacamole was so good. I brought it home to my picky meat eater husband and he loved it so much he said I needed to give them a 5 star. My daughter and I also got the shake made of almond milk. I got the peanut butter and chocolate. My daughter got the oreo milk shake. She really liked her shake. I liked my shake except there were chunks of ice in it b like it wasn't blended well enough. Service was good and fast.

Veganhooligans has a woman working this afternoon 1/11/24 who's RUDE AS HELL. Instead of helping the customer with what they are asking for over the phone she hangs up on them. This isn't the first time or the second. I don't understand what's so hard about explaining what comes on an item. She rude over the phone and it needs some attention from the top.

Located in a small food court on an alley of Los Angeles Street, Vegan Hooligans focuses on burgers and Mexican food - - all plant-based, vegan of course. I tried the "carne" asada burrito (see photos) filled with bean-curd based "meat", rice, beans, grilled vegetables and guacamole. (I had them hold the chipotle mayo.) It was delicious.Vegetarian options: Everything here is plant-based.

I'm literally eating the vegan carne asada fries in a dark hotel room right now (since my husband's sleeping), and I'm at a loss for words at how good this is. Everything is seasoned perfectly, and they don't skimp on the toppings, including the guac, carne asada, and cheese. The servers are friendly and patient, and the decor is so cute. Plus, if vegan food isn't your jam, you have three other places right next to you (but please, give this place a shot - you won't regret it). I was supposed to save half of this for my husband, but fuck it; he can get his own. Absolutely love this place and will definitely come back to try everything else.

I was introduced to Vegan Hooligan's this past Tuesday, and I every day I have ordered something. The Hooligan Vegan fries, the BBQ Western Burger, and today the 420 burger. I am in love with food again.

First I tried them in with their food truck in a music festival in Las Vegas and I knew i had to try their home base restaurant. I cannot believe it tastes like all the hamburgers I've tried that are red meat. This BBQ Western Burger tasted the same and it's 100% Vegan!!! The seasoned fries definitely complemented the hamburger. The fruit drink I ordered was so refreshing. I finished my whole meal in one sitting. I am so glad I went inside to give Vegan burgers a try. The food court has plenty of seating for one to dine in. I'm definitely returning to try their breakfast sandwich next time I'm in DTLA.

Ordered “Seasoned fries” at the food truck location at a music festival. The seasoning was just Salt and the fries were generic thin cut fries. No napkins provided, no fork at a dirty music festival. And only 3 ketchup packets with the option to pay for more. Providing the bare minimum will not get you fans.

Their food is consistent at both their locations. Nothing to wow you over with, very grease heavy, but that's the kind of food you're getting. Just glad there's the options available in the location.
