I would give this place negative 5 stars anyways, just left this place like 20 minutes ago. There's a fat black chick that's rude as ever every time I'm there asking for my mail. Today she wasn't trying to give me mail I KNOW should already be here. I went up to her 3 times. The third time I asked for the manager, which I was told was a white man, but some fake pale chick walked up. I let her know of my issue and I'm looking for mail after calling all the places to verify my mail should be in my hand by now. They don't do informed delivery, so I have to just stay on these mfers like their children. So she hands me the mail I KNEW was there. So I'm like, EXACTLY, so it there a reason why your employee claimed my mail wasn't here? She says, "oh she must have looked fast. I'm like okay she needs to look slower because I told her 3 times my mail was here and I called all the places and also stop playing with my mail. You all gave me old mail I was supposed to get last time I was here and NOW I'm getting it."So there was a little back and forth and I had to cussed their fat asses out because just the excuses. I know when someone is playing with my mail and I know when I'm supposed to have gotten my mail already. This mail says Aug 20th. It's the f****** 29th. Like Stop playing with me. Then the chick go say, "if you dont like it, get a p.o. box" I said, "Thats wtf i was trying to do. Ive been waiting on my ID for the longest. It aint like i come here to fing talk to yall." Like wtf. Jelaous and weird. Have an issue with me on sight. Didnt treat no one else in line like that. That crap is annoying as ever. I cant stand ugly bees. Like wtf.

This is a very unsafe and unorganized location. You have to go here to pick up mail that is being held. You cannot go to the location on Alameda street which is organized, sanitary and safer. At the location on North Vignes street, you have to wait in a line outside to get your mail. I have waited as long as one hour when there were only a few people in line. That is because you cannot go inside. You go to a walk up window. There is one person collecting mail. You tell that person your address. That person has to go way in back to the other end of the building to pick up a persons mail. So for each person in line, it could take up to a half hour to get that persons mail. It would be so much wiser to have the mail closer to the customer window. But I guess they need to make it difficult and time consuming. The window where you are greeted has scratches all over it and it is not clean. Given that we pay taxes, they post office could pop for a new window to make it easier on USPS customers who have to pick up mail. It would be nice if we could actually see the person handing us our mail. But that is difficult because the window is so scratched and scuffed up. It is also hard to hear them because there are always loud mail delivery trucks outside. While each person is waiting in line for his or her mail to be collected, the other people in line get cranky and agitated. I was there last weekend. One woman asked me if she could get in front of me because she only has one package. I had waited in line for over a half hour before she got there. I only had a few pieces of mail to collect. This woman did not understand that whether you have one item, or many, it takes them just as long to walk to the back of the building for each customer. I did not want to give up my place in line. I was concerned when I saw how agitated this woman had become. So by being unorganized, and by not having the mail closer to the pick up window, the post office is making it unsafe for the customers to wait in line. There are a lot of homeless people who do not have a mailing address going there to pick up mail. The location is also next to a prison. So there are also some unsavory people that lotter around that post office. It is generally unsafe, unorganized and unsanitary. It is kind of dangerous. All the post office would need to do is make a few changes. But they don't.

The person working at the desk needs to learn how to talk in a more respectful manner, like I know I asked you to repeat a few things, but what you’re working at, it muffles the sound of your voice. Employee stops talking if you ask to many questions apparently.

First time using this location. Where do I begin. Gets 1 star for the relatively short lines and wait, otherwise a filthy location. I had to pick up a package that required a signature for delivery. The USPS carrier in my area, never made an attempt to actually deliver it to me, as I have video footage showing no one came to my door to ring the bell. I then made arrangements on-line for pick-up instead only to go in for pick up, AFTER confirmation it would be there today, to be told package was not on site. The number they give you to call, 323-262-0361, is useless and no one answers. After calling, 7 times today, I finally get a live man on the line who tells me he basically cant help me because the carriers are not back from their routes and he is getting ready to go home. He doesn't bother to ask for the tracking # to my package nor does he offer to look for it. He basically told me to call back another time and that "he only took my call out of the goodness of his heart". Im not sure what the disconnect here is. These are our tax dollars at work paying for these "fine customer services" ? Is this what we deserve? TRULY, there is no excuse. I understand COVID is placing a strain on us all...but a little phone customer service is simply just manners.

I llove the folks here. They are sometimes rather unfriendly but they do their job. They help you as much as they should. It's a post office you really can't expect too much. I'm just grateful of their hours.

Takes 20 minutes to pick up a mail per person. If 3 people were in front of the line, you should take a nap. I use my lunch time come to pick up a mail, now I didn’t have the mail and i am still hungry.
