They need to hire/train better people. I’m sure there are a few decent ones out there, but overall, the experience has been disappointing:Had one guy make me wait over an hour for appointment. He was taking his sweet time during his hour+ break and walked in slowly forgetting that someone was waiting and nobody was at his desk that entire time I was waiting. I had to sign in AGAIN with the same info, because apparently, their system is broken. That was for one in-person meeting. It took how many people to answer my questions? Either they’re not transparent or they don’t know what they’re doing—either way, not a good look for someone who handles our finances. And when I had in writing I didn’t want to continue with a loan, the same guy emailed me again a few days later. Do you guys not check your notes? If your members are people from USC, a prestigious school or one where you have to have some brain to even make it here, then it helps if the people you hire aren’t dumb or incompetent.

One of the worst credit unions ever. Extremely long wait times, the overflow call center located in texas has limited access so there is no point in calling when the only ones that can help you is the Branch. Dont choose USC credit union for your banking needs you will regret it.

Calling customer service is embarrassing (associated with my alma mater), the people are terrific, but have no knowledge - will send you on a wild goose chase every time. Will tie you up on hold for 30 minutes, walk you through a procedure, next day, you get an Email saying what you did (with their customer service rep) didn't work. It breaks my heart to be closing my accounts today.

Consistently long wait times, very limited hours for phone service, terrible communication. Every interaction I have with this bank is harder than it should be. Because they outsource you can’t access any actual services for your cards on the weekends or in the Eve ?

Usc has been one of the worst customer service experiences I have had to deal. They have made everything as difficult as possible when trying to handle my grandfathers account. Particularly Cynthia Jackson at the Zonal branch who was oh so friendly when I went in person to provide my grandfathers death certificate but after that appointment she ghosted me anytimeI tried to get a status update. No return call or email. I had to take more time off work to go back in person to get a follow up and turned in all the documents AGAIN and was assured the closure process will proceed now. Two weeks later I called headquarters to find out why no documents had been received come to find out there was no update in the system that I had just been in 2 weeks prior. Then that rep assured me she would call me back after trying to contact someone at the branch and guess what? No return call. Usc credit union had made the whole experience an absolute head ache, inconvenience and disappointment. I'm currently on hold again with headquarters to try to find out any information for the 4th time. Shame on them for disregarding my grandfathers account when he gave 30+ years of service to usc and their credit union

Top notch customer service! Banking is easy with USCCU. I've been a member for 16 years and they've always been so helpful.

They take a really long time to call people in once you have signed in. I waited nearly half an hour after it opened and they didn't have anyone inside. Seemed they were just gossiping. The union as a whole is a great place. The zonal location needs work.

I paid of my USC MasterCard in full, and sent in payment via check. A few months later, I find out that I owe $220 in new interest, and they were not willing to waive it. Oh, and they tacked on a LATE fee. People think credit unions are better than banks, but I beg to differ. What a scam. Being that they're part of USC, no surprise.

I just spoke to an absolutely rude customer service representative on the phone. I have been trying to access my online account for a very long time and I get no help from anyone. USCCU needs a change... probably at the top! I need to close out my accounts with them and be done.

Some of the best customer service I've ever received. Robert in customer service just helped me with a ACH fraud dispute. He was thorough and empathetic. In the past, I've also had great experiences with their customer service reps and branch managers. I wish their mobile app had the ability to deposit into IRA accounts and I wish the daily deposit limit was higher than $5,000. Occasionally, I've had to go to one of the USC Credit Union branches in person to deposit checks. However, that's a small price to pay for their excellent customer service.

They waste your limited time and try to rush you in between. Can never fully ask a question in regards to account. AND NOW because of Covid they require appts and having to fill out stupid faulty questions on apps which does not work, and in order to see them- u have to complete what the stupid app tells you! How can i make an appt if ur app does not work?!

Customer representative Greg is horrible. Does let you finish a sentence to get your point across or to explain. Had to raise my voice and tell him to let talk! Representatives like this make a small situation escalate and make customers upset!
