Rude people, all the time. My package with documents in it was lost after shipping from this location recently. With so many negative reviews, I'm not sure why people keep going there. There is another UPS store nearby with great people working at it.

(from my visit on 8/9/24, around 12pm) As many have eluded to in this review section - this location is greedy and skimpy. I had two very small packages, both in a paper baggy I reused from a recent amazon purchase. The first package I was told I needed to pay $1 for a strip of tape to close the package. Confused, flustered, and irritated I pleaded my case that no matter what UPS location I go to nearby my apartment in Santa Monica, they NEVER charge me for tape (mind you, the SaMo locations even print my return label for free - something presumably this downtown location would NEVER do) but the worker here wouldnt budge. I gave in and paid $1 for this strip of tape approximately 6" long. I was about to mail my other small package through UPS as well, until I was informed I had to pay another $1 for another 6" long strip of tape. How petty can you get, UPS? I walked out of the store, and dealt with the other headache of USPS down the street to ship my package.
And calling out the UPS representative to responds to these posts - your words don't mean s***. Others have already clearly complained of this egregious tape charge, and you've literally responded its not part of your core values. But there still continues to be this charge at your location. Take off the facade that you present online and actually do something to change the values at this petty UPS location.

was impressed with how friendly and helpful the service was.
they even found a way to get my package wrapped up affordably and save me some money shipping so I know that my package will arrive before the end of the week.
Very quick, very friendly, I will definitely be going back to ship more gifts to friends!

Just mailed mi hijo’s birthday gifts. They were fragile. The moment I walked into the store, a very friendly associate started to help me pack and box. Her name is Violet and she was a pro at this, plus super nice. Now I feel secure that my son’s gifts will arrive intact and on time.

I wish I can give this location negative stars. I would suggest . If you don’t like people or your job to be please don’t work in a customer facing environment. I live close by so unfortunately have to frequent this location. I’m treated rudely every single time especially by a certain person. At this point I’m very tempted to file a formal complaint

Worst is UPS location. I live very close by so sometimes I have no choice but to use them. I had to pick up order and they’re just so unprofessional and very rude same thing happened the last two times I went. I give a lot of grace when it comes to people. So the fact that I have to make this review, it’s that bad.
They also don’t log everything so now my package is missing because They said somebody sent it back which at first he said that that person didn’t even work there by that name and then they said there is. It was logged in, but it was never logged out. When I called a different location to ask a few questions they said they always have to login when a package comes and log it out whether they’re sending it back or it’s being picked up.

I arrived first thing Saturday morning, 29Jun, to print a return label for a package return. I was in a small hurry as I had to walk back home before starting work. Of course the printers had other ideas and wouldn’t wake up. The lovely lady working tried to push things along, but you know, tech…. Anyway, she was kind enough to accept my package and let me get on my way back to start work. Once the printers were functional she attached the label and returned my package. Her thoughtfulness was much appreciated. Always great service.

Customer service is basic acknowledgment/greeting doesn’t exist. Also it’s the 2nd time packages got lost and significantly delayed with delivery. Never happens anywhere else except this location.

African American UPS attendant doesn't have minimum standards of decency. He is aggressive and disrespectful. The store was practically empty. There was only one customer ahead of me. This employee ordered us -- a new customer who just stepped in and me to step outside until he called us.
I asked him why? And yelling he said something like " because I said so". I left. The other customer said something like how rude this guy is. Please don't hire violent and disrespectful individuals like this.

I have come to your store for many years. Yesterday I had a return with UPS label. Your workers promptly shared I must pay for tape. Unfortunately I did not bring any form of payment. I shared I live next door and I would bring a dollar when I get back. Your manager was gone. The customer service is appalling. Finally Mikey stood up and said if I give a survey he would mail package. I will try to avoid this ups on flower and 9th down town Los Angeles.

The girl that works there is mean so unprofessional the sign says they close at 7pm however the staff closes doors at 6:45pm. This lady needs a man in her life. She doesn’t get enough love at home. Her higher ups should remove her from this location and put her in the packing department instead.
