I want to buy my pen. This place have many professional item for artist. But I just needed normal pencil. So I'm a little dissapointed that they have small kind of normal pen.(just for studying).If you want to buy some special item, recommend you. But you want to general school supply, it is better to go other place.

Top's is a small art supply business. They have a LOT of good stuff, and some things are a lil pricier but it makes sense because it's not a big company or anything! If you're tryna save money try going during their back to school saleThe employees know a lot about art, and are very helpful! Even if it's a bit pricier I come often because of the service and knowing that I'm supporting a business that truly appreciates art :')

I’ve been going to this place since the mid 2000s and they have always been accommodating. They always provide assistance in finding certain products, plus adding their own personal suggestions. They are always friendly and helpful. One must ring the doorbell first, to control the amount of customers coming in since it’s a super small store. But aside from being small, they have many options and if they do not they’re willing to accommodate—always a great experience coming to this art store. It’s a comfort place for me since they have aided my high school artistic endeavors all the way into late adulthood with their supplies.

I had a great shopping experience at Top's Art Supplies. The staff was very welcoming and polite. The store has a magical environment, and I enjoyed the music selection. Even though the store seems small, but they have a wide selection of quality items. The prices are reasonable, and I will definitely shop here again!!

Blicks is big, but when it comes to specialized Asian materials and papers, Tops is my fav. In fact I think I'll be at Tops way more than other stores in LA. I think I like the unique art supplies, friendly customer service and prices are AWESOME! the canvass are super good prices. Actually that whole store is great.

Stumbled on this little gem. At first I was thrown off by having to be buzzed in. Upon entering it is apparent why. Absolutely beautiful, organized and well stocked. A definite recommendation to anybody.

Great little local art supply store, with basic supplies for most any art hobby and an especially wide selection of acrylic paints, inking/calligraphy supplies, and wrapping/printing paper.

If you're in Artist looking for canvases trust me, this is the CHEAPEST place in all of La to buy a canvas. Cheaper than Blick, cheaper than Baller hardware, etc. like 60% cheaper for the exact same canvas sizes and brands at those other Art stores. The staff is always super friendly and helpful this is the only place I go to for Art supplies!

Absolutely lovely place, with some of everything! It's so well stocked. I even found some sewing-related odds and ends for very reasonably prices, and a paint pet set in colors I haven't been able to find elsewhere. It's so neat and everyone is very kind, definitely stop by!
