The lady cutting my son's hair was extremely rude. We came here twice; she was mean both times. It seemed like she was tired but she had no reason to be rude!

Unorganized, disrespectful, and just plain out rude ladies. Says to make an appointment but doesn't write it down. Told me 2:30, I know because I put it on my calendar. And tell me it was 2pm not 2:30 and didn't even say anything else. They favor Koreans, doesn't speak much English I guess. But manners should be a universal language. Don't come here

Small and it's not your usual trendy boutique hair salon as couches and tables are scratched up but friendly service and they get the job done and decently priced. $35 for hair cut and layers, $90 for hair perm depending on length. Appointment only. There are two ladies who cut the hair. I got my hair cut done by Lucy.

women with longhair up to their ass'es. i know ya'll trying to save money for a perm. They will convince you to cut your hair short even when you trimmed your hair 3 inches before. point blank. They only know how to do SHORT HAIR. Nasty attitudes. NEGATIVE ENERGY. - don't f*** with negative people. I was gonna leave the place & she cop an attitude with me claiming she cannot do 2C curls. than she tried to force to convince me to sit down & wash my hair. cause i got money, because i called my mother to find me somewhere else to go to koreatown plaza. by the way- that's when she got a curler to try a strand for my hair. & now it's shitty. she needs to tell me striaght up - i can put my money else where. i spent 150 & i tipped $40: so she knows she worked so hard for $40 tip & also her "hard work" of being so delightful of working on my hair. same thing when a women wants to spend on botox & lip injections. beauty is an investment. also, it was just Me & MY GRANDMA. No one came through that place. Schedule or not. mind you- she tried to manipulate me to cut my hair short because she was lazy & she knows she needs money for her cut. . letting you know - ladies, long natural hair - spend 300 - 400 trust me. they are only good with MEN's HAIRCUT & Medium length hair for women. now i have to wait 3 months to drop $400 in the whilshire area in ktown. at least they have good energy. drop the money. your hair is you & your energy. & your money. don't let anyone convince you otherwise. f*** the other reviews - take it from a women- who actually tips & pays for bad service. jokes on me huh. hope they can change.

Literally the best hair stylist who is an artist. Like she would spend 40 mins for a guy's haircut because she has such a high standard. And it's so affordable, which is why u need to set up an appointment like days in advance. Trust me, Kay is the best hairstylist for asian straight hair. $20 but I tip her $10 cuz she's so worth it.

I have been going to this place with my mom and sister for many years already--the only place I only go to, actually. We drive from Valencia to K.Town just for a haircut. The hairstylist are Korean (we go to Lucy). I love every haircut I get. Usually, the struggle is with language barrier, but I go around this by bringing a picture of the haircut I want and just show it to her. She does it really well! They have a fair price, too.
