Absolute worst experience at a Ritz. Ordered room service at 8:20 said 30 mins. 45 mins pass, we call, they say food is on the way. 20 mins and still nothing. Call again. Say they will call back in 5 mins. No one calls. Call again tell them I have children to feed. Doesn’t matter. My husband goes to the front desk. No help. The guy working was actually rude. No restaurants or food places open. Call room service again. They say their manger is working on it and will call us back. 15 mins no call. Call again. They say they are trying to figure it out. This goes on for two and a half hours. No help, no offer to send other food in the meantime, nothing. Absolutely ridiculous. So much for taking care of their customers.

The locations is fing terrible. I hoped for a good bar but got a Marriott bar where there is no vermouth in my martini… enough said.

Noteworthy details: They charge a $30 destination fee for free popcorn at the cinema and “enhanced” internet service, and yoga classes. They gave me the incorrect time for the yoga class when I called the front desk so I missed that; did not go to the cinema so no free popcorn and I get enhanced internet with my Bonvoy membership anyway.

This Hotel has nothing in common with any other Ritz Carlton. Service was really disappointing and the rooms are very noisy.

The Ritz Carlton in Los Angeles, where I stayed in late April, offered a luxurious urban retreat. Located in the vibrant heart of the city, the hotel provides easy access to LA's renowned attractions steps away from Crypto Arena formerly known as the Staple Center. The rooms offered panoramic views of the cityscape, and the rooftop pool was a serene escape from the urban bustle. The hotel's dining options were a highlight, featuring innovative cuisine and elegant settings.

The lounge and rooms here are great! Staff are ready to assist in any way, and the food & drinks provided at the lounge are a nice way to start or end the day. The view and location is always nice, and I’m happy to visit with family.

So I have mixed reviews about staying here. Everything was fine. Service was fine, the hotel very clean. Minus the nail in our room that wasn’t removed for 2 days. It’s close to everything you would need; for LA it’s 20 minutes in an Uber to almost any place. However; being attached to the Marriott, everything happens at the Marriott. Drinks, breakfast and your Uber won’t be able to find you unless you’re at the Marriott. Love the location as your right beside the arena, convention center and numerous restaurants. So the hotel is fine, but you could also just stay at the Marriott.Rooms: Very large and spacious.Nearby activities: Arena, shopping, restaurantsWalkability: Well it’s L.A. You can walk from a lovely location (like the ritz) to a dodgy location on one street. But it’s close to lots of thingsFood & drinks: Steps away from numerous bars and restaurants. Including the arena.

What an AMAZING experience I had staying at the Ritz-Carlton!! The customer service was truly top notch!! Merilyn Rivera and Daniel Navarro provided amazing customer service! They made my best friend and I truly feel welcomed, valued, and appreciated! I highly recommend staying here for an upscale experience with old school charm!

REVIEW WAS DELETED AND I WILL KEEP REPOSTING!!! BEWARE OF FAKE POSITIVE REVIEWS!! This Ritz is inferior to Ritz in other states besides the location, nothing exceptional about this place. Some of the staff are pleasant while others are the complete opposite but overall the staff is okay at best. The restaurants on the 24th floor were by far the worse experience from staff to food. Female bartenders are rude, slow with drinks, and if you're a pretty woman be prepared for the condescending (jealousy) attitude. The males will ignore you until 1 of them "decides" to service you. Aviod the food as a few people including myself became ill afterwards. I was offered a credit but have no desire to use it.The restaurant on the ground floor is better but it's on the Marriot side, so the ambiance doesn't have that upscale vibe I prefer when I stay at the Ritz. The Marriot and Ritz being conjoined brings the experience/quality down. I was on the Marriot side for food/drinks the majority of the time and was only at the "Ritz" for my room. So don't even bother booking the Ritz unless you have points/discounts as the Marriot is a better price option and there's nothing at the Ritz that makes it worth it to pay more when there's a cheaper alternative literally in the same space. However as for me, I won't be booking with the Bonvoy chain ever again.

Solid place obviously....it's connected with JW Marriot so that's nice. Close to the arena and all downtown activities. Staff and service is excellent. Just wish you had more options for internet TV other than Netflix cuz the wifi is bangin!
