Not sure about other reviews… but it was my first time visiting the store. I went without making an appointment, but Elizabeth was very friendly and welcoming. If you really love fashion itself and want to look through the rarest vintage designer couture pieces, this is the place.

I consigned with this lady never to see any money or my items back when I asked them back before the deadline by which the items belong to her. Elizabeth told me she could no longer find them.

I visited this store recently and had a deeply uncomfortable experience. The owner was shadowing me there the entire time, and I overheard her making derogatory comments about my ethnicity under her breath. It made me feel unwelcome, targeted, and I won't be returning. I should have read the other reviews before even going there…

I consigned with this store numerous pieces and when I asked for my clothes back within the time frame indicated in the contract, I was told they couldn't find them. No accounting on their side for the lost items. Someone mentioned here that she has written in her contract , in the small print, that the store is not responsible for lost or stolen items. I suggest to those who are thinking to consign with this store TO CROSS OUT that part from the contract . It 'd be useful if your items disappear too and you want to take the owner to small court to get reimbursed. As for shopping there, the store is terribly overpriced.

She's extremely rude. I didn't even waste time scheduling an appointment. It is appointment only, although they rarely answer the phone. I was aware, but in case you aren't, the dresses are used. I suggest going elsewhere.

I stumbled upon this store front yesterday, as a stylist & fellow thrift store owner I was inspired by the window display & wanted to check it out however, I was unfortunately met with the owners very poor customer service.
The sign along the sidewalk displayed the store hours & included that Saturdays were also by appointment but did not say by appointment ONLY. Once being met with the owner she informed me that they were actually by appointment only everyday. Of course she’s inclined to that however, that should be specified on the sign outdoor in order to avoid any confusion.
Despite the mix up she allowed me to take a peek inside, however as I began to share that I’m also a fellow thrifter I immediately felt judged based off of her response. I’m well aware as to the difference between a thrift shop & a consignment shop & the quality of clothing a consignment shop holds vs a thrift shop, despite the difference they’re all second hand lol. Her response was delivered as though she wanted to belittle my knowledge. Now while those words did not come directly from the owners mouth, I believe that deliverance is everything & the owner portrayed very poor customer service skills & I do not intend to visit again for any of my clients or for myself.

I'm pretty sure I lost a pair of Chanel sunglasses on the fitting couch, and I was the last customer in that day. As soon as I left the store and got into my car I realized I had forgotten it and tried calling but no one answered. The next day I had waited at the door of the store until it opened, but the store owner refused to look for my glasses.

The owner takes an item like my wedding dress and then won't see you for months while you try to get it back. She told me that June was wedding season and I would have to pick up my wedding dress later. That would mean missing the deadline for picking it up. She assured me that this was fine. And now she says she won't give it back to me because "she's not a storage facility". I just want it back because it's beautiful and I know I could sell it on therealreal.com or just keep it for a festive "wear white" evening. It is a very slinky ivory evening gown from a well known designer and I ended up not wearing it for my wedding because our venue changed and it did not feel right anymore. So I'm frustrated. I will have my lawyer husband look into it.
