Best vet I've been to, very kind staff...Gavin at the front desk is very helpful and the veterinarians are very informative and compassionate. I highly recommend this place, it's great to know there are vets out there that aren't just about money. Thanks melrose vet!!

Miscommunication with staff, no one knows what the other is saying and promising. Too expensive for any services.

Our dogs got into chocolate donuts late Saturday and we called The Melrose Vet. Staff were very helpful and got us in to see the dogs quickly for treatment. Our pups are fully recovered and we are grateful they are open later on the weekend. Awesome team, and treated our dogs well. Would highly recommend.

The staff at The Melrose Vet made me and my furry friend feel most welcome and our needs were quickly accommodated. I trust that my pets are in great hands and I will be bringing them back for all of our future vet needs.

Avoid at all costs. Do you research and find a vet who's friends and employees aren't leaving reviews to bury the bad ones. This vets office is a total sham. The vets are unqualified and if you dig in the reviews and look online the owner has mistreated and unalived people's pets. Dig and do your research online. The front desk literally acknowledges it. I unfortunately experienced this place and my dog was misdiagnosed and mistreated. I even watched a woman walk in with her pet, charged $200 for a vaccine and the dog was in and out in 10 minutes. Literally. Additionally the owner had the front desk selling membership to boost people bringing pets in. Why would a legitimate vet want to treat pet owners or pets so transactionally? Truly gross. They're trying to operate a gym like it's a West Hollywood nightclub that's going down hill.

The moment you arrive you are greeted with wonderful staff members that are super friendly . A Special thanks to Esmeh, Naomi, Govin(my doggy especially thanks you for helping with cleaning him up when he made a mess). all the doctors especially Dr.K and Dr.G are super friendly, very detailed and make sure you are educated. If you are a new Dog mom it can be tough to figure it all out But Melrose Vet has you covered. My dog made a mess in his crate, all staff jumped in to help and were kind . I am jealous of my dogs health clinic, it would be nice if adults could have a cool place like Melrose Vet. The place is modern, clean organized . They go out of their way to answer concerns and are very responsive on IG. I love this place and feel blessed to have found such great staff members and providers . You guys are awesome ! Thank you for being amazing !

This is the best vets office I have ever been to! All the staff are extremely friendly and personable and you can tell they genuinely care about you and your pet's health and will do whatever it takes to help them! I took my 21 year old cat in several times recently and they were very gentle and loving with her. Specifically Dr. Madhusudan and Dr. David were incredible, gave me very comprehensive answers and really made sure I understood the details of what was going on and what all of my options were for my kitty, and called in the following days to see how she was doing. The prices are very reasonable, and if you're unable to make an appointment as soon as you'd like, they have urgent care hours from 7-11 each day and accept walk-ins. Thank you so much to all the doctors and staff at the Melrose Vet for the amazing care you've shown for my baby and I!

I want to take a moment to express how wonderful the manager, Mariah, is. My boyfriend and I came in on Thursday with our dog, Nala, and Mariah walked us through the invoice in great detail. Her customer service was great, and she made us feel completely at ease. We'll definitely be returning. Thanks, Mariah!

i had my first visit here tonight as a walk-in. reception, the vetrinarian, & vet techs were all very polite, efficient, & helpful.
the exam was quick yet thorough —they even noticed that my dog had an ear infection as well, something that i was unaware of & had been missed during her recent vet visit.
the cost was reasonable for the services provided and there were no added hidden fees like so many other emergency/urgent care vets charge.
+i love that they have late hours available.
highly recommend!

I am constantly disappointed by this place. The lack of care and professionalism by everyone from the front desk to the veterinarians themselves is baffling. Every time I bring my sweet Rottweiler in for anything they treat her like a rabid dog. Even after being muzzled, the vets are in pure panic over her grumbles. They clearly don’t deal with many large dogs.
I’m so upset that I’ve let this go on for 2 years, because now that she is truly hurt and in pain they’re unresponsive and incapable of taking messages and returning phone calls. Conveniently after collecting $1500 for X-rays.
If you care about your pet and expect your vet to treat them with the same love and care, please go elsewhere with your business, because that’s exactly what this is.. nothing more than a busine$$

The front office staff should not be answering the phone and talking to clients. 10 minute wait times and a cantankerous experience every time. We had our dog in weeks ago and it took two hours to finally be seen by the vet. The vet seemed inexperienced and oddly afraid of our dog who was muzzled and simply afraid of everything going on. This dynamic was extremely odd, my confidence in their ability was lost. As we were already so invested, we thought simple X-rays would be manageable, which they were but at $1500 - extreme to say the least. I received a call from the owner a day later as a follow up. He was nice and thorough in regard to our dog and also asked about issues with his staff which we addressed. He also told me to call back in if we needed anything else and he would call us back. This morning I called as we needed to discuss the condition of our dog and we were met by the argumentative front office staff again. I explained that the owner asked that I call in request to speak with him and to leave a message if not available. She went on to tell me that the owner gets too many messages and she cannot guarantee that he will call me back. I reiterated that he personally asked me to request this and she continued to speak over me, loudly repeating herself each time, would not take a message and then hung up on me. We need answers for our dog and the girl answering the phone is directly in the way of proper care.

My baby girl Lola is so important to me! So, I don't trust her with just anyone. I recently moved to WeHo and needed to find a good vet. I decided to give The Melrose Vet a try and they are nothing short of amazing!! Mariah is the office manager and she is so patient with the pet babies and their owners. Go in at the front is so nice. You are always greeted with smiles. Now let's get to the doctor. Dr. Karnahan is great! He was thorough, patient, good with Lola and sooo knowledgeable. They also took my budget into consideration which most vets do not do. I highly recommend this vet office for your baby if you want gentle care and knowledgable experts.
