I recently visited to the love song bar, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The ambiance was vibrant and inviting, setting the perfect mood for a night out. The cocktails were expertly crafted, with a diverse menu that catered to all tastes. The bartenders were not only skilled mixologists but also friendly and attentive, making each visit to the bar a memorable one. I can't wait to return to there for more enjoyable evenings filled with fantastic drinks and great company

Love song bar is a great space to grab a drink downtown while enjoying local djs, bands and visiting acts. Adjacent to the Regent there’s always a mix crowd, nice eclectic traffic of good looking people. Bar staff is attentive, friendly and welcoming. Nice sound system and perfect intimate seating. Would recommend for a date or large group.

I love this bar in downtown Los Angeles. The drinks and music are great. The staff is friendly and make you feel welcome. It's next to The Regent Theater and it's a perfect place to go before a show.

This little bar is low key but with a big vibe. I really love their live music nights featuring international and local musical artists & DJs, and the intimate space makes it feel very underground/ IYKYK type of thing. One night I wandered in and ended up seeing a Japanese rapper from the underground Tokyo hip hop scene who I had never heard of before, but it was so much fun and the crowd was super into it and dancing their butts off. It feels like they really care about bringing a unique flavor and variety to the nightlife scene here. Cocktails are also delish (I always order the Lastword), staff is friendly, crowd is relatively unpretentious. Def one of my go-to spots in LA for new music and dancing.

The female white bartender is pretty nasty. Otherwise a dive bar with popping Wednesday night scene.

My husband and I ended up here on a whim. After a failed attempt at another bar, I found this place and thought "why not?" First off, this is definitely a locals spot. It is attached to the Regent theatre and we had no idea that there was a concert going on when we arrived, but I'll get back to that later. It's a smallish bar, with seating alongside the wall and a few tables at the end. For being Saturday, it was congested and packed. The bartenders were readily available to take our order and were quick. We ordered a few drinks, all good, but the one that stood out the most was the smoked mezcal one. I can't remember the name, already pretty buzzed at this point, but for this beer drinker, I could've had a few more. The music had a few guest dj's, playing a mixture of house/techno/techno funk/techno I don't know/techno electronica/garage/whatever! All in all it was fun. Now back to the theatre part, when we went someone named MIKE was performing and what I thought were doors to the bathroom (separate from the bar and outside in the hall) was actually the entrance to the concert venue. Inside, the vibe was chill and we were surprised that the venue was clean, air-conditioned, and no one was giving bad vibes. All in all it was a great night in DTLA that we got lost and ended up seeing a great artist and having some good drinks. 10/10 recommend this place. I found their Instagram and can now see the all the new updates to the bar! Hope to be back soon!

Even prior to 2020 I would have been uncomfortable at this bar. Tried to see DJ sets here multiple times and they just don't have the flow worked out to make the dancefloor feel welcoming or safe to breathe on. I think if they oriented the booth differently, perhaps tucked it into the front corner or wall opposite the door, even if they want to leave the sound where its at, it would do a lot of good for the flow. Just seems unsafe and leaves a lot of people kind of floating in the main bar area. if you're short and good with dark spaces/crowds you should be fine. Nobody respecting my personal space tho i stood way back so i could try to warm up and dance. folks literally grabbing my arm as they walked by all night. There's no need for that when im actively bobbing and weaving to try to make room.back bar/bench seating area could use some ambient lighting. I'm gonna try to come back earlier next time and give it one more shot but this has been ny experience so far and i think the issues could be solved/space made more inclusive with a few key adjustments to balance the space.
