Undoubtably the best apartment building in all of Los Angeles. Full service is an understatement, this building provides the best of everything. The quality of the construction of the building, the location, the level of service, the staff, the safety & security, the amenities, and everything else you can ask for is TOP NOTCH.

I love living here! The concierge is very tentative, it feels like I have a private assistant! The house car is a beautiful 7 series that is always available and can take you almost anywhere you need to go, the valet is so friendly and remembers your schedule so the car is always ready to go. On holidays they give you gifts and are festive. The rooftop is always open (including the pool) I grew up in LA and could not recommend better apartment to live in!

I lived here from 2019 to 2020 and it was the greatest waste of money in my entire life up to this point. At over $9K/month, I lived in a unit that had virtually inexistent sound-proofing. By day, I was bombarded by the construction across the street on Le Doux which started promptly at 7am every morning. By evening, my walls would vibrate with the EDM my next door neighbor blasted. In the middle of the night, I often heard loud noises from the unit above me - sometimes it was the sound of a washer churning, other times it sounded like someone prancing around in stilettos. When I raised these noise complaints to the management, I was often told that they "sent someone to investigate but did not find anything." I spoke with the head engineer at the time about these noise issues, and he told me that he wouldn't be surprised if some building employees were using the empty unit above me to do their own laundry late at night. The air circulation was also terrible, as I smelled cigarettes and marijuana not only in common areas but also in my unit where no one smoked. The amenities in this building are also underwhelming - there's only a rooftop pool and a minuscule gym. The tiny gym has a HARDWOOD FLOOR, which is not only unheard of but also a safety hazard. My personal trainer was shocked by how dated and poorly maintained the fitness equipment and machinery were - they looked like they were from the 80s and the building was only built in 2013. I reckon they probably purchased the equipment second-hand. Don't let them sell you on the "white glove concierge service" as the concierge team consists of young people in their early 20s who think they're too cool to greet any of the residents, and make it abundantly clear that they'd rather be someplace else. When I first moved in, I would always smile and greet any of the concierge staff/building staff I'd encounter when entering the lobby. However, after a while, I gave up trying to be courteous as they would straight up ignore me most of the time. Next, the texting service was supposed to bring more efficiency in communicating your needs to the concierge team, but they usually did not respond until hours later. The worst of all was when they would misplace my packages ALL THE TIME. The young Asian man who was in charge of packages often left piles of them out unattended in the valet driveway, where not only residents but also members of the public visiting the nearby Trader Joes or restaurant would walk by. There's no surprise if some valuable-looking packages get stolen. Also, I subscribed to perishable food for my dog that needed to be frozen, and they repeatedly misplaced the very large package that absolutely could not be missed. Days later, by the time they located it to be sent to me, the food inside would already be rotten. I wrote to the building management time and again about these unacceptable issues but nothing would be resolved. I was truly at wit's end. Paying a premium to stay in a full-service apartment is supposed to make your life easier - not at 8500 Burton Way. The main reason I decided to rent here was that the GM at the full-service condo I owned hopped over to the Caruso properties, and he promised that the same (if not better) level of service and quality of life would be delivered at 8500. To say that I was utterly disappointed is an understatement. Please don't make the same mistake I did - for the kind of rent you'd pay here, there are countless properties in Los Angeles that will provide you with a much better living experience.

Horrible, poor construction, paper thin walls, grossly overpriced! With all the charm of a cold office building...this place is the worst! Located in the middle of a busy intersection - sirens all night long. People yelling on the sidewalk. Security is a joke. Rude neighbors and terrible staff! They take forever to do anything. Do not pay the ridiculous money to live in this sh*thole! You have been warned.

I usually don't review grocery stores. But this is my one exception. This Trader Joe's legit has the best customer service. Hands down. Something about the way they treat you. Always so helpful and the return policy is fantastic. Also one cool thing about Trader Joe's. If you want to try a product before purchasing it, a customer service rep can have u try it right there. No questions asked!!! Love it here!!!

I love this store. I shop early at opening so I can get in and out. Plenty of friendly staff. Easy and quick checkout. Store is clean. Parking is easy.

I stopped into this Trader Joe's for the first time because I needed to make a return, per the policy of Trader Joe's, which encourages you to try new things and if you don't like it you can return it. I was helped by a manager named with a beard named David. He was very rude to me and laid in entire presentation of embarrassing me for returning some items. He kept commenting that it was gross. It was mostly closed jars of things but he acted like he was handling the trash in a ladies bathroom. He had a passive aggressive attitude the entire time. And made me feel very uncomfortable. As if I was doing something wrong or inappropriate or vulgar by returning items to Trader Joes. I don't understand why a manager at Trader Joe's, where they encourage you to try new things and return it if you don't like it, would make a customer feel so bad about returning some items. I think it goes against the store's policy, and is bad PR for the business. It certainly created negative feelings about Trader Joes for me, and I've been a customer for over three decades now. Thankfully I stopped to get a sample on the way out and Laura, who was managing the sample station was delightful, and engaged me in conversation that made me almost forget about the negative experience I had with the manager named David. If it weren't for my encounter with Laura at the sample station I would have left there and vowed never to return.

I'm spoiled because I live two blocks from this location. The downside of that is that since I live so close, any time I think of one item or ingredient I might need, I walk on over, so I end up shopping here 5 times a week. But I have been to several of the others nearby, particularly before this one opened and I did not have the luxury of walking just a couple of blocks; but I really feel like this one has the warmest atmosphere and the nicest employees. I always see a lot of kids in the store, and it's just a pleasant place to be.

Love this Trader Joe's! The dog food is absolutely amazing -- I've only been feeding my very picky maltipoo Trader Joe's dog food and treats since she was a puppy (she wouldn't eat anything else for more than a few days), and when I took her to the vet last week, the vet said "Cookie has the cleanest teeth on a 3 year old dog I've ever seen". Since I've never brushed her teeth (good luck sticking something in her mouth that she doesn't want!), the only thing that must be keeping her teeth clean is the quality of their dog food! Everyone is always very friendly and this store as well, and it's clean and well stocked even though it can be very busy sometimes. Thank you very much!

Staff here is great. Pool is great. However, I'm breathing weed smoke for almost two months!! I'm constantly sick and get headaches from it. I can smell it when I walk the dog even outside. No issues with people & their weed, but it's suppose to be a non-smoking building. They have done nothing to rectify the issue. Haven't changed my unit and deal with it sometimes 3 times a day.
