Not a 3 star hotel. Rooms standards were too low. Noicey surrounding. Lot of homeless people a block away from the hotel.
The stars are only for
Convenient location close to major attractions, free parking available on site, and good staff/ security.

Nice, spacious rooms and the towels were made up and changed every day.
The service at the reception was excellent, I had a problem with the suitcase and they called me immediately when it was delivered to the reception.
Excellent location with free parking.

It’s a good hotel for the price. Location is good and easy parking, I was freezing at night though. You can hear your neighbors through walls but it happens in every hotel I have ever been to this is why I am using ear plugs all the time.

Hotel fine, room 210 was clean (except old goopy well-used microwave). Checkin easy, staff friendly, let us check our luggage when we arrived early and room not available. Also, she offered very nice local Thai restaurant referrals that were super tasty!
Location in Thai Town was convenient, with Ralphs supermarket across the street and a super nice Lazy Acres organic natural foods supermarket 1 block north of hollywood blvd, up the hill (with great ready-to-eat foods like large salad bar, taco stand, poke bar, acai bowls, etc - plus handy to stock up on room snacks and drinks). You walk 1mi east and you get to cool Frank Lloyd Wright designed Holly Hock House and Barnsdall Pk with cool city views. And nearby Vermont Ave with good restaurants and cool vintage shops. 2-3 blocks north gets you to Griffith Park and easy hikes up to Observatory and into hills. 1mi west and you hit beginning of Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theater and other tourist attractions.
Food options good. In Thai Town so alota amazing Thai restaurants. BOLT EaHo is 1/3mi west, a great coffee shop with good breakfast, egg sandwiches, gluten free bread, cookies, muffins, friendly staff. And nearby Lazy Acres organic natural supermarket was good for lunch salads, tacos and poke.
And hotel is super convenient to The Greek Theater (quick Lyft, $12-15 or 2.5mi walk), if you wish to take in an outdoor concert. Great venue. We saw PJ Harvey on this trip.
Just be prepared that it is LA and leaving the hotel, for several blocks east and west on Hollywood Blvd you endure the foul urine stench of homelessness. 2 out of 3 mornings we could hear the same loud crazy homeless guy shouting and ranting as he apparently woke up somewhere nearby, maybe behind hotel.
But walking around during the day and early evening (til 10:00ish), it was safe and none of the few visible homeless bothered us.
Overall decent hotel to check out some cool spots; it’s not a fancy Ritz-Carlton resort but good place, clean and in convenient location.
Rooms: Stayed in 210, clean except well used microwave. 2 queen beds, frig handy. AC worked fine
Nearby activities: 1mi walk to Walk of Fame, Frank Lloyd Wright’s HollyHock House, easy hikes to Griffith Observatory, 2mi from The Greek Theater
Safety: We walked around fine til 10:00ish at night, didn’t feel unsafe. Just realize you are in LA and homeless people around but didn’t bother us or anyone else during day and later in evenings.
Walkability: Close to some cool tourist attractions, 1mi flat walk west to beginning of Walk of Fame, eventually Chinese Theater, 1mi flatwalk east to HollyHock House and restaurants and vintage shops, 1/2hr up the hill hike to Griffith Observatory, 2.5mi to The Greek Theater
Food and drinks: Great Thai food, as you are in Thai Town. BOLT EaHo nice, friendly coffee shop with good breakfast sandwiches, gluten free breads, cookies etc. Lazy Acres organic natural food supermarket has great ready to eat salad bar, taco stand, poke bar, sushi, etc

Old hotel, with very old rooms, the door (which is to the outside, because it is a motel type) has an opening at the bottom where a hand enters, which made good weather for us, but in winter I don't want to imagine , so if someone wants to look at what is in the room they can see it perfectly. You can hear all the noise from the street and the room on the sides. The toilet and shower are separate, the rest, sink and other bathroom items in the same room. The area, although the location says Hollywood Blvd, you really can't walk much at night, as the girl at the reception told us, there were many homeless people on the street as well as drug addicts in the area. The only good thing is the free parking and that there is security at night.

Cute complex, great parking & security on-site. So many places to check out walking distance. Great place to stay if visiting family in the hospital just 6 minutes away. Will definitely be back to explore around the area. Staff was very helpful & welcoming. Rooms were clean, only issue was shower head was too low for us, but that didn’t effect our stay. Working refrigerator, microwave, and AC. Quiet at night. Pool is being renovated but wasn’t an issue for us since we were mostly in the hospital.

Decent little hotel. We felt very safe here and it was no trouble leaving the car while we explored the town. The room was decent. Clean. Had a fridge and microwave. Free coffee in the lobby. The pool was being refurbished, so if you want to swim, make sure you call and see if it is open yet.
You are on Hollywood Blvd, so there will be traffic noise and sirens throughout the night. It's not horribly loud, just noticeable. It isn't right in the heart of the strip so plan to walk about a mile + to get to the touristy things. Leave the car in the lot, be adventurous, and order a Waymo to take you to Graumens Chinese. It's fun!
Rooms: Clean rooms, nice beds. Ours had a/c, fridge, microwave, iron, hairdryer. No coffee maker as it is provided free in the lobby.
Safety: We felt quite safe there. There was security at the gate overnight. Our car was safe there while we were gone for the day.
Walkability: There is a grocery store across the street if you need anything and restaurants close around the area. Walking is easy to the touristy areas, but they are not close. Plan on at least 1.5 miles before you get to tourist shops and the like. It is an easy walk though with a sidewalk on both sides and lights with crosswalks.

Rooms are sub par. Air barely works. No water in swimming pool. Tv has went out at least 6 times (picture or sound) and you can’t smoke ANYWHERE on the property. Keep this in mind, as you are also about 200 feet from the homeless district. Enjoy your stay!
Safety: Good luck out there!

Old hotel! The room was barely clean, the entrance wall seemed to be falling apart. Bathroom small and far from spotless. Some positive points all the same: friendly reception staff, guarded parking at night and metro a few minutes' walk away.

For perfect sleep
Very large room with parking. If you have a car it's perfect, otherwise everything is very far away. There is no coffee machine inside the room, it is not very well soundproofed and the refrigerator makes a terrible noise.

Good, renewed hotel. 100% safe! There is a guard watching the property during the night. Good walking distance to downtown Hollywood.
