The Dance Store is a favorite and trusted place to get pointe shoes. Everyone is an excellent fitter and genuinely care about giving dancers options to best suit their needs. Great selection of leotards and dance wear!

We randomly found this store when we were looking for dancing shoes for an upcoming performance my daughter had. Not only is it adorable, we received a very personalized fitting and were impressed by the reasonable pricing! We ended up buying 2 pairs of shoes plus some awesome leotards, and my daughter is thrilled and feeling extra confident during rehearsals. Can’t wait to go back!

Walked in and was overwhelmed. The selection was grand. So many things to look at best to have an idea of what you need before coming in.. especially when you're approached by someone who only wants to help you so you're not "wandering win this store" By asking someone what're you looking for as opposed to can I help you find anything - just sets the tone. I clearly feel out of place but those words made it sink it. I truly didn't want to support this establishment after that - a rushed situational encounter- when I'm watching the no POC customers get waited on and explained and interacted with in a positive manner. Anyway I went there not for myself , but for my younger cousin. The old lady's in there quickly found what we needed (yes I knew what I needed to get as I did research days before) we tried it on waited for the slow cashiers who again, took there time with the non POC PAYING customers- and then proceeded to rush me to pay and not tell me the price .. $58 for Jazz shoes and horribly uncomfortable service. I won't return. It was out of my way and misleading from the website - where things are in there place and not cluttered or stuffed.

I needed a leotard and tights for my niece at the last minute. The ladies in this store are so nice and they have absolutely everything you need! So many different choices when I walked in the door, I just walked to the counter and told them what I needed, they were very helpful. They made sure I had the right sizes and had me on my way in less than 10 minutes . Excellent service! Such a cute boutique too!

They had what I needed, so A+ for selection. (Although I called a head to make sure it was in stock, so save yourself some LA driving.) Also, super friendly and helpful staff. Ask for Jenny. ;-)

My daughter was so nervous about getting fitted for her first pointe shoes today. But Lisa made the whole process of selecting the most appropriate shoe such a pleasant, comfortable and easy experience for us! Thank you so much for being so patient and educating us on what to look for!

This review is to highlight Lisa because she is professional and knowledgeable with pointe shoe fitting. The store didn't have her style/size on our last visit so Lisa was creative and patient in trying to find an alternative style though ended up ordering the desired one upon my daughter's request. We've been going here for a few months now. The staff is great.
