I am extremely frustrated about the ongoing security issues at my apartment building. It's beyond belief that, just today, another tenant had to go to the lobby to report a homeless individual inside the parking lot, sitting on the security guard station or desk, specifically asking for drugs and money from several people who were coming in and out of the parking lot. This happened during the daytime, a period when there is never any security coverage. What's particularly infuriating is that the building advertises 24-hour security, but that's far from the reality. To illustrate the severity of the problem, we witnessed this incident, where a fellow tenant had to take action due to the lack of security presence.Given that we live in Koreatown, Los Angeles, where there's a significant homeless population and a higher risk of car break-ins and theft, this situation is simply unacceptable. Our location in the heart of Koreatown means we're exposed to more security threats, and it's vital that the building management takes immediate action to address this issue. My frustration and anger stem from the fact that residents' safety is being compromised daily. This situation needs to be rectified urgently to provide a safer living environment for all of us.

The leasing team is terrible at responding and very rude when they finally do so. Janet in particular never seems to know the answer to anything. Every time I've spoken to her she's been unhelpful or hostile. David is nicer and tries put in some effort at problem solving but is usually limited in what he can do. Security is also lacking and doesn't make an effort at keeping the building safe. Whenever I come back home late at night (I work swing shifts) there is either no security guard at the post or there is one guard (older, wears glasses, gray hair) who is just watching soap operas on his phone. I get that it can be boring work but he should at least be paying attention to who's entering the premises.

A very quaint place to live. It is an older building, so there are many times that the elevators could be out of order, or different things in the apartment unit (like the sliding door or having leaks in the bathroom/kitchen) need fixing. The workers there are great, including security guards and the custodians and the maintenance workers. Even though outside at the perimeter of the apartment complex it's sort of sketchy, the Ambassador staff do try their best to maintain the landscaping and clean the sidewalks. They do give their best to maintain the apartment complex daily and make it a good place to live, as I always see them cleaning and working on the different amenities like the laundry room, lobby, rooftop pool, etc. and also coming by to fix in-unit problems like leaks, broken sliding doors, and others. The apartment complex is dog-friendly, so there are a lot of apartment residents with dogs. Most of the residents are friendly, but do be aware that some of the apartment units' vents are connected, so it was quite unfortunate for my apartment unit to have the smell of marijuana in the evening every other day. Also, the heater/AC unit is centralized, so just be aware that even on hotter days, the AC may turn out to be a heater because the management hadn't switched it for the whole apartment complex. But, the view is nice, and the apartment units are spacious and have nice floorboards. So overall, I give Ambassador Towers 4.5/5 stars.

Stacy and the maintenance team did a great job coming after hours when the unit sink started clogging up!

Janet is a SUPER Rude manager! So unprofessional she had called me names. Maintenance guys and people walking in my apartment without a notice I called a few times to address the concern and manager replied rudely saying “she doesn’t need to inform me before coming in the apartment” so where is the respect and privacy?

David showed me the place 3times before I make a final decision and explained all files I need before I move in. Janet helped me with parking, keys, additional files I need and payments. I'd give this place a negative star review if Yelp allowed that. The management is terrible and just wants your money. Janet in particular is rude, condescending and ignorant. Not only does she fail in being knowledgeable about the building she is "managing" (I use quotes because she doesn't do anything when there is an issue that either her team or she personally caused) but her customer service is incredibly lacking. If you hate your job that much quit and don't take it out on tenants with your disrespectful tone. She doesn't know any of the building policies when you ask her about them and lacks any type of critical thinking skills to produce basic solutions for issues that arise. She also lacks accountability for her own oversights and mistakes and lies straight through her teeth in an attempt to cover her own incompetence. Her writing and grammatical skills are also subpar. I thought I was having a stroke when I tried to read an email she sent me only to discover she has the reading comprehension of a rock. Speak slowly and with as much simplicity as you can if you ever encounter her and I guarantee you she will still mess something up and be unhelpful. She is incredibly skilled when it comes to telling you what she doesn't do. Save yourself time and just ask her what she actually does - the list is far shorter. Spoiler alert it's nothing. She's incapable of resolving or accomplishing anything. The security is a crap shoot. Some guards let anyone in while others are better. On a positive note - the neighbors are really nice and the concrete structure doesn't let much noise into your apartment. Janet, if you manage to learn how to read and see this: you suck at your job and are a waste of space. Ambassador Towers - Fire her and get someone who actually knows the building and its policies. Management can make or break your tenants' experiences and she is certainly bringing this place down.

I have been living here for 8 years. The management and security team are so helpful and kind. Janet and David are GREAT. Any time I have any issues - they are right there to fix it “promptly”. It’s nice to know that the managers of the building you live at are right there to assist you with any troubles or maintenance issues! Also the high floors and the view here is spectacular!!!

I lived here for three years until June of 2022 and it was a decent place. I was on the top floor. The pool is great and the gym is serviceable. I had friendly neighbors and maintenance was always taken care of promptly. It's an older building, so sometimes there are issues with the elevators or the cooling system, but that is to be expected in a building of this age. Otherwise, its a great location, cool architecture, and a good, responsive management team. Great value.
