Recently, this Target has started locking random items into glass cases on the shelves. What's the point of locking up 32 oz bottles of washing machine liquid, while small boxes of dryer sheets are unlocked on the facing shelf? For locked up items, you have to wave your hand under a sensor which doesn't work properly, then wait up to half an hour for a staff member to arrive and unlock the case. Nobody who works there seems to know why random things are locked up. Shopping for ten items presumably takes all day. I wouldn't mind if anyone could actually be bothered to show up and unlock the case, but as it is, the store is an exercise in frustration.Meanwhile, Ralphs is a block up the street, has a better selection, and doesn't do this.I will not shop at this Target again - even for things which are not locked up - until this stupidity is reversed, because I refuse to reward this sort of thing with any form of payment for anything. Whoever thought it up is clearly an idiot; perhaps Target will take note once their profits start to slip.

We shop at this West Hollywood target almost every weekend or so. It’s our favorite, it’s clean, and the employees are super sweet and helpful.

Although this location is super convenient to my home and the staff/pharmacy staff are great, the prices at this location are higher than at other stores.

This is a smaller but decent-sized Target. The problem is that it's a playground for the city's drug-addled vagrants. They shoplift on the regular. It's so bad that Target recently added locked plastic panels on several aisles. You can't even get deodorant without asking an employee to the lock the panel!I've seen at least a dozen shoplifters here. Just today as I was entering, two vagrants, each with a few Santa-sized bags over their shoulders filled to the limit, scampered out of the exit. At this rate, the store won't be here long until the $950 limit on theft is lowered and zero cash bail and our loser DA are gone.

This target's integrity used to be soo much better when they opened. literally witnessed someone shoplifting and security was no where to be found... had to flag down an employee... Asked a team member for help who was on her phone smiling and laughing and was annoyed when i asked for help. This place is always a mess. Will not be coming back, the one on san vicente is wayy better if you need something quick, or santa monica blvd for a larger variety.

Worst target. They close the bathrooms over an hour before closing. They don’t communicate and one member told me the bathrooms were open and where to find them. Once I got back there I rang for team member assistance which is needed to enter bathroom. A worker then rudely yelled at me from down the aisle that the bathrooms were closed. AN HOUR AND A HALF EARLIER THAN CLOSING TIME. Worst experience.

The employees must be really underpaid and overworked here. They don't really care to help and don't even try to, instead encourage you to go to another store.

I honestly love coming to target, but this trip just left a bad taste in my mouth. The lady monitoring the self checkout area was extremely rude. I had a cart that I no longer needed, I saw an area with MULTIPLE carts left. I assumed it was a place I could leave a cart I no longer needed. She aggressively to my spouse "that's not where you put carts" we apologized as we realized we were obviously were word. She immediately began to argue with us. As a person who works/ interacts with people on daily basis you would think when someone apologizes for their error you would be civil and just be understanding. Not combative. I don't know if she was having a bad day but people should be more aware of where they are and not be reactive.

You know times are rough when Target makes you do self-checkout... that or their employees are trying to do as little as possible.Second time visiting in 2 weeks and items I came for are yet to be restocked. Some areas are half empty.

Decent store, but small for a target. Parking can be tricky.

Poor customer service. On the phone with this location for nearly ten minutes and nobody has picked up. Target keep transferring me to different departments.
