I had an issue with the bobbin area of my Singer sewing machine. I didn't know where to go. I did a google search and found Tanner Sewing and Vacuum Center. After describing my issue, Sergio fixed it right away. I left my sewing machine for cleaning. The following week, I picked up my machine. It was as good as new. I highly recommend this place!

As usual I took an old Singer treadle machine for light restoration and I was delighted. The bolt that held one side of the treadle had fallen out at some point. Not only did Sergio HAND MADE a bolt with the proper treading to replace the missing one but he cleaned the machine and got it running again. All for the same price originally quoted. I thought they'd just put a bolt with a nut through the hole and call it a day!Sergio and Rick are always happy to show you how it sews. They give me lessons on what the buttons and knobs do (I found an old manual but the live demonstrations are soooo appreciated.) They always allow me to take pictures or videos of anything they do. I know they are there if I need help with this or any of my other four machines!

Great neighborhood business. Fixed my chandelier and sewing machines and I purchased and maintained my vacuum there. Fairly priced with nice employees

The staff is nice and turn around is fast, but my sewing machine started having the same issues I took it in for within days. I don’t know how they are with vacuum cleaners, but I do not recommend for sewing machines. $120 down the drain and had to take my machine somewhere else for fixing.

I have visited Tanner's on two occasions. The first visit was to service my embroidery machines, and the second visit was for repairs. On both occasions, Rick and the other employees were very helpful, and kept me updated throughout the process. They do a great job and I will continue to go to them for my embroidery machine needs

I purchased an antique Singer machine at a thrift store. I confirmed at purchased that the machine was operable. But I wanted an expert to go through an clean/oil/service it before I used it. I called up Tanners and dropped it off same day. The turnaround time was about a week and a half and they returned it back to me in fantastic condition and advised me of any items they found during service.

I was mortified when my LED lamp stopped working. I've tried to find another one for a long time since this is such a great lamp but the company went out of business years ago. I was so disappointed I could not get a replacement and decided to search Yelp to see if someone would be able to fix my lamp. Sergio came to the rescue-it was a simple fix, to replace a bad circuit board in the power supply. So my lamp I use every day for our business was fixed in just a few days. If only life can be this simple, most times it is not but this time it was! I'm glad others have posted reviews with honest opinions of services and products, I am so appreciated of Tanner's electrical appliance repairs. If you have an electrical appliance that no longer works, see if it's a small, simple repair before going out to buy a new one.

After my bad experience at Boulevard vac and sew I gave this place a call and Lisa answered and she told me I could bring in the machine and she would test it for basic functionality as a courtesy. She identified that we had it set up wrong and she made it right and it tested fine. I purchased some thread and took a sewing class flyer that they offer. I really appreciate Lisa for taking the time with me. The charge to service my machine is $119. ????

My wife's beloved Babylock Serger had never really worked right after local shops and the factory had tried, thread tensioning issues got to the point that she didn't use it and didn't want to spend any more money for repairs. It was a death match fight to give Tanner's a shot at it, turns out the last place I took it should have been the first.The machine has never ever worked this well and my wife is in love again. Thank you very much Rick Martinez for an excellent repair and the very rare debate win. She is almost always right! Thanks again!
