My wife just showed me this place. I had no idea it existed but I'm glad it does. I like really small family owned specialty shops and this is definitely that. The man at the counter was very kind informative and helpful.

I was in my way to another business near by but happened to park in front of Sylvia's cake deco shop. Wow! Was I surprise to see this small, yet well organized and stocked with the basic necessities. The owner is Danny and he has to be given more than just 5 starts for his customer service. He was more than willing to talk to me about anything I asked. He even suggested a baking class in Alhambra which I already looked up and I'll be taking a course. It's this kinda of mom & pop shop that needs our support. I found the prices to be fair which is a big plus. Not only that, you can put a price on customer service and the knowledge Danny shares. Highly recommended. Encourage friends to shop there and make it a point to visit and buy more. Danny deserves our patronage.
