Wonderful clerk assisting me I bought some tea and bath saltShe rang me up and I paid them another lady came and instantly refunded the bath salt and told the clerk she rung it up wrong. she did not address me but felt it was in to take my purchase out of the bag and void this one saleI said what is going on and she said that it was rund up wrong it cost more by the weight.I said to her the sale was complete and you don’t speak to me before you void my purchase of this one item firstI am annoyed how Rude she was to do this to my credit card without explaining and just assumed that this is how to proceedI addressed this and she gave me the correct price and embarrassed the clerk and myselfWhen she rung it up she asked it I still wanted it like I could not afford it as well no apology for the confusion or even a opportunity to give me a choice or for her to say their was a error and it would need to be correctedSelf empowerment to just void out my sale with out asking

One of my favorite shops in LA. I buy everything from dish soap, to cleaner, to shampoo and conditioner and bubble bath. Prices are competitive and service is helpful. It feels so good to shop (and try to live) more sustainably.

Amazing place to get all your household needs without the awful plastic. So easy to bring or buy glass jars and refillable jugs. I feel so good never having to deal with the plastic waste that traditional cleaning/house supplies create. I get everything here!

Look, I want to love this place. Ive come here to get my body wash and other things but the fact that a tip option pops up when checking out is enough to make me look for other places to purchase from. The workers are friendly but are they providing me a service? No. I tip at sit down restaurants, takeout and coffee shops but at a store where the workers just tell you the total? Absolutely not. The owners should remove the option to tip and raise the workers wages instead. They should be ashamed of playing on peoples social anxiety. The first time I came here, I was so shocked that a tip screen popped up while I was talking to the nice worker and I felt bad hitting the no tip option so I tipped but what exactly did I tip for?? The worker was telling me about the deodorant they carry. Does that warrant a tip? No. So I basically just tipped the worker for saying 2 sentences to me. I left feeling scammed. I've returned once since then but no more.
