We had the last table in the back and the noise level was great! If you sit in the front you might get a bit higher noise level. Service was super friendly and checked in with us multiple times but not being annoying. The food is amazing! Haven't had fantastic Shusi in a long time! Price is absolutely reasonable for that quality of food. We been 2 patrons and paid $191 for so much food that we actually have been over eaten lol. We just couldn't stop. Only thing - it was cold not sure if other doors have been open somewhere but that was a bit uncomfortable but not dramatically.

Excellent sushi and sashimi, emphasizing classic approaches, but with some contemporary choices too. Friendly, efficient waitstaff. No hidden extra fees or surprises on the final bill.

We celebrated my daughter's 18th birthday at Sushi Enya, and were were not disappointed. Very good fresh sushi, very good service. My daughter had the Omakase and, while on the expensive side ($200), it was a very good Omakase, very creative and beautifully presented. The rest of the sushi was very good and very well prepared, and less expensive. Really not too expensive for a LA sushi restaurant, except if you order the Omakase. I would definitely recommend!

I love love love this place and have been coming here for years! They've earned a Michelin star in 2019 and it does not surprise me one bit! Highly recommend to make reservations to avoid long wait times especially on the weekends. Definitely a quaint place, almost has a hole-in-the-wall feel from the outside. Just an FYI, this place isn't as friendly to those who don't eat fish (ie. no bento box, udon options, etc). PARKING: Some street parking available, however I never get that lucky. I usually park in the Joe's parking lot that belongs to the Little Tokyo mall for convenience. Their rolls are what makes it stand out! LEMON ROLL: One of their popular items on the menu. This is made of salmon, spicy salmon, avocado, cucumber, and lemon. So refreshingly great and this is always a must order for our family. (Definitely wouldn't recommend if you don't like lemon for obvious reasons haha)CHEF #1: This comes with tuna, spicy tuna, shrimp tempura, avocado, and cajun powder. Can't go wrong with this combo. Cajun powder wasn't too overwhelming. Highly recommend!CHEF #2: This comes with eel, spicy tuna, shrimp tempura, and avocado. Similar to a Caterpillar roll. I enjoyed Chef #1 more than #2, but would get both again. ABURI SALMON BELLY: This is the center loin of scottish salmon with yuzu and soy sauce. Melts in your mouth and is sooo tender. Love this! CRISPY RICE WITH SPICY TUNA/YELLOWTAIL: I love a crispy rice with spicy tuna. Sometimes they'll have a special with a different protein. I've had both the spicy tuna and yellowtail version, came out exactly as I expected. YUZU: This roll comes with yellowtail, spicy tuna, shrimp tempura, smelt egg, and avocado. Definitely a more refreshing roll with the yuzu and highly recommend. Always a must order for us!Hope you stop by if you are in the area and enjoy it as much as I do! :)

Sushi Enya is my favorite sushi place in SoCal! The service is great and the inside of the restaurant is cozy. I love that you can sit at the bar or at a table.I always check out the Chef's Recommendations for the freshest fish of the day! I love ordering O-Toro and Chu Toro nigiri. They both melt in your mouth and are so fresh! I also love the Red Snapper. The Sea Bass is great, but I don't favor the chewier texture. The Lemon Roll is fantastic. The salmon is fresh and the tanginess of the lemon is perfect. The 911 roll has a perfect spiciness to it with the blend of chili oil and sesame oil.I recommend the Hot Jasmine Tea to complement the meal. Also, if the Matcha Panna Cotta is available, you must get it! It's the perfect way to end your meal.Sushi Enya is a great place to go when you want high quality sushi and great service. The price is on the higher end, but worth it if you love sushi and have the money to treat yourself. I will be back every time I'm in LA!

I don't know how i haven't posted a review for this restaurant yet bc i come here all the time, their sushi is phenomenal. I have never had a "miss" experience. Where to start: albacore belly is an absolute MUST (if you're lucky enough to get it, they run out fast) the toro, anyway they prepare it is my ultimate favorite bc lets be real, its toro: melt in your mouth deliciousness. Yellowtail belly a must. Truffle wagu, omg. You might die its so good. Eel mascarpone just wow. Excellent service.Traditional vibe. My favorite sushi restaurant in downtown Everything here is a hit. You can not go wrong.

One of my favorite sushi restaurant! Been coming here for the past 5 years and it never disappoints. There's always a line/wait so I try and make reservations whenever possible. It's not a very big restaurant but it's also not small, the best seat in the house is the sushi bar of course. The sushi here always taste very fresh and I love how they infuse truffle and caviar onto their menu items. And honestly I'm not usually a fan of uni, but this is one the places I can eat it and enjoy it. Perfect for a date or intimate dinner, I definitely recommend trying this place out if you haven't already
