I have gone to these guys for new brakes and tires and all I can say is that they are very hard and honest working people. They have helped be with finding quotes and getting my car fixed at a great speed and efficiency. I appreciate the work and help that they have done. These guys are awesome. I drive a pretty old car but I love her, trying to make her last a little longer without throwing out a ton of money. Anytime I need a fix I go to them. Recently, a good portion of my exhaust system needed to be replaced and Junior patiently worked with me to explore all possible options to finding the most cost effective solution. 10/10 service and results :)

I have to and customer of this place off and on for about 10years .I have sent my son and my assistant to take my car here.And with out fail Sunset Auto Repair also comes through honest and on time .I have had oil changes ,tire repairs tube up and serious brake job which I just had done 3 weeks ago.And I am so happy I keep going there .It’s seems the son or a family member has taken over they are in the right direction.

Came here on the weekend for an alignment. Nestor provided quick and friendly service. They didn't attempt to upcharge me, push for additional repairs, or sell me an air filter like most other places usually do. I was pleasantly surprised with the price. I will certainly be returning here!

Trustworthy guys!! They have always done a great job and been very affordable. As a woman I never feel like I’m being lied to or ripped off. They also made some great auto body shop recommendations and just seem to actually care about their clients.

Every time I drove by, I always saw that this place had a lot of cars. Recently I needed to do some repairs on my own Toyota Corolla. After getting a couple of quotes from different places, I stopped by here. And I quickly understood why they always have a lot of cars, why their Yelp reviews are through the roof, and why this is THE place to bring your car to. They did an evaluation and gave me a list of recommendations. The recommendations were similar to what I heard at the other places, yet more thorough. The prices though - those were unbeatable. I said yes and I am so happy I did. They were friendly, cordial, professional, and my car was repaired promptly and very well. This is the only place where I'll bring my car from now on!

I took my car in around April because it was giving me some issues and they supposedly diagnosed it and told me it was my transmission. Jr was telling me it was going to be around 5K to change my transmission and blah blah blah...and I knew it wasn't true when I asked him "how long do I have before it completely goes out" and he said "about a month"...thank goodness I was broke and didn't have the money because I would've paid it. I took it to another mechanic for a second opinion and it was just a spark plug that had gotten some oil in it. It ended up costing $100 and some change including labor. My car's been running great since then. No issues with the transmission.

Great place.! Honest, and fairly priced for their work. I've taken my car there for multiple repairs. Anything from a simple radiator flush to more difficult jobs such as my electric work. When you call ask for Jr, super nice guy and will keep you up to date with the progress of your vehicle and gives you options for work repairs needed.

They changed oil and filter but left bolt not tightened so new oil just leaked out and motor started knocking. Don’t recommend oil change there

This is a great place. Family owned and operated. They are extremely knowledgeable about all makes and years of cars and they are honest about which repairs need to be done. They are also very affordable. What more could you ask for? Our go to every time!!
