This rating is to personally thank two employees.... Rosa and Jordan are the best! They are super professional and on it. They helped me navigate a stressful move and were very supportive. They make a great tag team and Extra Space Storage is very lucky to have them. My experience would not have been the same without their assistance and attentiveness. Finding the right storage space in LA is really tricky and great customer services goes a long way.

Really incredible customer service at this location! I visit our unit often for work purposes, and am always greeted with cheerful and hospitable attitudes. The employees I'd like to shout-out in particular are Rosa, Keith, Jordan and Jezel. Each of these individuals have gone above and beyond to help every time I step into the office. Truly, no matter the time of day- they acknowledge me politely and are eager to help me if I need it. I am so appreciative for their assistance- and am very grateful that the company I work with chose this location for storage!

The storage space and customer support of Extra Space Storage is beyond what I expected! I booked a 5’x10’ over the phone and was able to access it immediately. Super affordable (the best price I’ve seen anywhere) and great location. The security is very high so I don’t feel worried at all about my unit being broken into (I even received a phone call from them when I accidentally locked my unit improperly). They go above and beyond to make sure you have everything that you need and that you’re belongings are safe.

First things first, y'all can see my review history to see that I do not hand out bad reviews often. So it takes alot for me to write this.But I have been renting a storage here for two weeks, and during that time the elevator and the electronic gate outside have been broken, meaning I CANNOT access my storage unless a staff is on site to let me in, and I have to walk up three flights of stairs.The worst part is the staff didn't fully admit to this at first, the first few times they told me it'll be fixed soon, so it resulted in me coming to storage three times (on a Sunday, at 6:20pm on weekdays other two times) just to realize I cannot get in because the gate doesn't work and no staff is on site.It's been this way for TWO WEEKS. How can you run a storage where people can't access it easily ?I have tried calling and no one ever picks up. So every time I want to come here I must make sure I come during office hours and be ready to climb three flights of stairs.I mean, y'all should offer customers a refund or discount for this major inconvenience.

The two young men that were there to assist at the 1000 Main Street location were very helpful, friendly and informative. They made the experience easy, and answered all of my questions. The woman that was there when I initially called trying to get help while at another location was unpleasant, rude and actually said she was so short staffed and busy, so she couldn't answer questions or help the reps at the location I was at help me to confirm if her site worked better for my needs. I arrived within 15-20 min, she was outside chatting, and the two men were inside waiting to help me with no customers inside. I thought well maybe they just came back from lunch, however during my interaction I overheard her asking the men had they been to lunch which they confirmed they hadn't, and she left for hers. Often times, supervisors get too comfortable in their role, they loose the sense of customer service and self responsibility, that proactive nature to always be willing and flexible to pick up the slack and help out when needed. I had a sense that this was something she, sadly, did not take pride in doing.

Updating this to further indicate this trash company. Roaches, spiders, lies about climate control. They lied and charged my card earlier than due date. Literally have proof from bank with dates and they just continue to "deny ". I was never sent a contract by mail or email. No knowledge of a late fee being a percentage of price.I abhor this company. I am a chef and caterer and need to get my items and they won't let me into my OWN unit. When people go ape shit crazy on someone then people want to try to de escalate but not when things are are a much mild level. I literally CANNOT STAND THIS COMPANY and I DID NOT CHOOSE THEM!! I was forced to use them due to them buying out the previous company that I never had 1 problem with.This is by far the absolute worse storage experience I have ever had and I've been using storage units die over 20 years. I never chose this company. Storquest is who I chose and sadly this company took over and I've had nothing but issues since. I never had 1 issue prior to this takeover.Since they have been here I've had my auto pay canceled and then constant issues to have my card saved which then leads to late fees. Every month there's an issue and initially I liked Rosa but she has turned into the absolute worse person to interact with. Their systems were down and I had movers which is expensive. It took 30-45 min to get a code that actually worked which cut into my move time. They lied telling me the whole ordeal was 6 min. There's so much I want to say right now/ I def lost my cool because I abhor liars and their lack of customer service has been incredibly disappointing.Their systems are constantly not working. How when this not even once happened prior to their arrival. I was attempting to move into a larger unit only to discover a massive air duct in the unit That they Didn't even know about themselves. It took away nearly 5 feet and they still wanted to charge the same

Really easy, efficient time choosing a rental unit! Keith H. was such a great help and it made all my worries getting a storage space stress free. The place is very secure and I felt confident in being able to store my extra equipment here.

I was never notified of a rent increase due to an error in my address. I came into the office and they agreed to refund the extra charge. We had a face to face conversation and agreement on this.A week later I see that I did not get the agreed to refund and called. I was notified then that they considered it to be my fault I had not been notified because I was responsible for the erroneous address in their system.I was never an extra space storage customer but was with storquest who sold the property to extra space.It's a dishonest business practice and it's disappointing to be treated so poorly.Note that there is no email or other notification of the rental increases. The intention is clearly to catch customers off guard and spring the increase on them. In this case the increase was 16%.

This storage facility is secure and clean, and has good lighting. Rosa showed me to my unit, explained the security procedures, and answered all questions. She is a stellar example of an employee.

I had a really excellent experience coming to this storage. We arrived on the weekend and we found the placed staffed with only a single individual, her name is Rosa. And even though she was up to her eyeballs in things to do I found her service very thorough and professional. They have trained her very well, hats off to the management. She was able to do our transfer from another extra space storage to this one seamlessly. I would highly recommend coming here and using this place with help like Rosa provided, you should be very satisfied.

DO NOT RENT HERE. They will raise your rent 30-40% months after you get everything moved in. Predatorial business practices that I'm sure will be outlawed in the state of California in the coming years. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

This place used to be StorQuest. It was clean and safe. Now it's unsafe to enter through the back gate. There are a gang of homeless people crowding the entrance. Even though the sign says open at 8:00am I wait til someone is in the office because it's not safe being alone. They raised the rents after taking over and gradually the homeless moved in too. Don't store your stuff here! I'm looking to get out asap!
