Bbq chicken, sticky rice n a small side of papaya salad hits the spot! Will be back to try the noodle dishes. The service was okay, I don’t expect you to be a cheerleader but a simple "hello" would do ?

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Sticky Rice in the Grand Central Market, and I can't stop raving about the incredible experience. The Crying Tiger Steak was a highlight that left my taste buds dancing with delight. The thinly sliced steak was perfectly cooked, tender, and packed with flavor. The accompanying Papaya salad added a refreshing touch, and the sticky rice complemented the dish exceptionally well. Each element on the plate showcased the chef's skill and dedication to creating authentic Thai comfort food. The ambiance at Sticky Rice is vibrant and inviting, making it an ideal spot for enjoying a delicious meal. The staff was friendly, attentive, and contributed to the overall positive experience. If you're a fan of Thai cuisine or looking to explore new flavors, Sticky Rice is a must-visit. I highly recommend trying the Crying Tiger Steak – it's a culinary delight that will leave you wanting more.

I'm going to miss this place. Visited this place during my brief stay in LA. Amazing food with good portion sizes and flavor. The wait time during dinner can be a bit long and best sellers tend to sell out. Tasty food to try and definitely recommend.

This place is so solid every time I go. Pad krapow is my favorite, but the hainan chicken rice is also quite good. It's a generous portion for a place within the grand central market. The krapow is probably a Thai medium spicy which is a nice simmering fire in your mouth that build as you eat. Service is quick. The wait also goes by faster because they are doing all the cooking in front of you which is fun to watch while you wait /eat.

Review for New Location: 3rd Street. I really wanted to love this place. * Picking up the order was fast and efficient. Nice staff.* Pad Thai looked amazing but was very very oily and weirdly it lacked that pad Thai flavor... * Fried Shrimp Rolls were crispy but just oily and not great. Definitly not worth the price at all.I will try it again - the curry looks great and the crying tiger could be good. Skip the PT. Annoying: Default tip of 25% after ordering at a counter / window is ridiculous.

My recent visit to Sticky Rice left me in awe. The ambiance of the restaurant was a true homage to Thai culture. The soft lighting, traditional artwork, and soothing colors created a serene atmosphere. It was the perfect setting for an intimate dinner. Service was impeccable from start to finish. The staff was attentive without being intrusive. They were well-versed in the menu, ensuring we made the best choices. Water glasses were always filled, and the courses arrived promptly, showcasing their efficiency. Now, the food – a symphony of flavors! The Panang Curry was a masterpiece, the Satay Chicken skewers were tender and perfectly grilled, and the Tom Kha Gai soup had a depth of flavor that was simply divine. The presentation was artistic, and each dish was a testament to the chef's skill. This restaurant is a hidden gem, and I can't wait to return. It's the ideal place to savor Thai cuisine in a tranquil and elegant setting.

We were at Grand Central Market for lunch and wanted some “authentic” Thai food (should have went to a Thai town). I ordered the chicken basil. It was reasonably priced. The dish tasted alright but I ordered Thai spicy and it was mild at the most - no spice. Also, there was hardly any basil, maybe had 3-4 basil leaves. If I went back, I would maybe try something else. If I’m the market though try the Mexican dishes - very good and reasonably priced.
