If you're the outdoorsy type, you'll love this place. You can get anything you need for your next camping trip or even jungle trek. I just think things are a little overpriced though. I always rummage through the clearance box. Problem is that a lot of that stuff looks used. They've got good sales sometimes.

Where else can you go to really get all your outdoor rec gear? Although the regular prices seem a bit high (I got a bag for $45 in the store, the same bag on Amazon was $30). BUT, they offer regular 20% coupons if you're a member and they offer a generous return policy. The service is also really great here!

Decent selection for climbing gear. I went in to find a yoga headband for my girlfriend and when I asked the employee he said that the headbands are just lying all over the store so he was running around collecting headbands off the floor and on random racks. The lines get pretty long here because every employee is trying to get you to buy the Sports Invasion loyalty membership.

This is a great place to shop for all sporting goods and camping gear. The employees are also incredibly nice and helpful if they see you walking around like a lost deer. I purchased some chanclas here because they were cute AND on clearance so was pretty happy about that. I know they're not very outdoorsy like but I just happened to come with my sister and scored a pair of goodies for myself.

Pretty cool place. Plenty of equipment to rent/buy. I like that it's in the middle of crissy field, easy access to bike routes and to golden gate. Place seems very laid back and easy going, used to let dogs in to the facilities until recently due to some state law. Would definitely come here again.

I just love love love Sports Basement. Great help, great prices, such a customer-centric experience. They work with the community and care that everyone should be healthy and exercise. I think it is one of the best small businesses in SF....keep it up!

LOVE this place. Tons of stuff to look through - you end up spending a lot of time and money here even when you just wanted to "pick up one thing".Their selection is huge - I always find my shoe size (11 womens) and even find tops and pants long enough for me (5/11). At good prices too!

I love their service and great selections. They also have a real price guarantee and you can really get fine prices and quality brands from here. Their service for bikes are also fantastic. Would recommend to anyone.

Love this place. Love the gear. Never have my shoe size but everyone is super helpful and friendlyBought a bike w training wheels here and a wheel fell off. Bike shop fixed it right away no questions asked and free of charge.

I've always enjoyed shopping at the Sports Basement stores (including the one in Walnut Creek). The variety is extensive, fun atmosphere, and the employees are helpful and friendly. Prices are reasonable. What's not to like?

I love this place! They have everything I need for all my activities and at good prices. I have bought all my triathlon gear here except for my bike. This place has everything you could want or need. I also find the staff to be knowledgeable and helpful.

Great staff. Nice big rentals section.Charley in ski rentals was fantastic, friendly and patient and me+wife+4 year old daughter all got our rentals and shoes etc fitted.It can get busy and crowded so I'd say go early if possible!
