I detest inconvenience to leave negative feedback but now I understand why people often express negative feedback about Spaces. I've held a membership since 2021 but haven't utilized it much due to having another business/office. In February 2024, their website displayed a 40% discount promotion on memberships for 12-month and 24-month terms. Wanting to confirm if this applied to my renewal rather than creating an additional account, I contacted Spaces. Krista assured me that it was indeed an updated renewal at a discounted rate with only longer terms. Hence, I proceeded to pay the updated renewal fee of $259.72 on 2/2/24.Shortly after making the payment, I received an invoice for March 2023 ($269) with a new account number via email, indicating that a new account had been created instead of updating the existing one. I promptly reached out to Krista regarding this discrepancy, and she acknowledged her misunderstanding of the membership promotion. She informed me that she had escalated the issue to her account manager for resolution. Yesterday, I followed up with another call to inquire about any updates, but Krista informed me that she was still awaiting a response.In the meantime, an auto-payment of $269 for March 2024 was processed on 2/15/24, despite more than two weeks having passed since I initially raised the issue. This extended delay in customer service is well below par. I've encountered similar issues with Spaces in the past, such as being charged for coffee and tea services on my credit card despite never adding them to my account. Despite numerous emails and calls, the refund process was excessively delayed.As a business owner myself, I find this level of customer service unacceptable and detrimental to retaining customers. The slow and unsatisfactory response from Spaces further exacerbates the situation.

Dont rent an office space from them! Ray Awad and Ryan Staskel will offer you an office with certain amenities then take them away and pretend they do not know what you are talking about but still take your money. Liars and thieves!

They will charge you for things you don't want and insert it quietly into your invoices. They started charging everyone for coffee monthly without their permissions. When contacted about the concern, no body ever responds to your concern from the account team. How dare they just add a charge without your permission? They really don't care about you and are willing to pull shady tactics to make extra money. Not sure whos running their business. You will open a ticket with the account team but will never see any updates regardless how many times you contact them. I'm sure there are better co-working spaces.

Great amenities and centrally located for me to conduct my business! Ray and his staff are very helpful and it's located across from The Grove so lunch options are great!

This is a great building located in one of the best areas in Los Angeles in my opinion. Ray and the rest of his team were patient, kind and professional. They did everything they could to make sure i was satisfied as a client. Thank you again ray and the rest of the team, you guys are awesome.

I have been trying to reach their location to book a room for 20 people for the past week. No response, no one to give me any information. I have tried contacting them by phone and email. No one to help me. I am done trying to reach out to them.

Please do not use this co-working Space, you will never be able to cancel - this company is genuinely a scam. The actual co-working experience here is pretty rough, the office blasts top 40 music and doesn't allow workers to turn the hi-beam LEDs off. So I cancelled - working inside what feels like a Walmart starbucks wasn't for me. After that, Spaces somehow charged a card that I had never authorized (for a period of time that hadn't started yet,) despite the fact that I had already cancelled. After dozens of emails to them (and a credit card dispute,) I finally got a refund. I wish that was the end of the story, but they just sent me another invoice today for "late fees." Take your business elsewhere. *EDIT* : It seems Spaces has replied to this review with more useless advice. I have submitted a help request 11 times though the portal on the Spaces website, and have not gotten a human response once, despite multiple follow-ups.

We worked with Lauren Linville on finding an office space that fit our needs. She searched a half dozen locations and found us some amazing spaces and stayed in our budget. It was a pleasure working with someone so responsive who really listened to what we were looking for. I would definitely recommend working with her.

This is a scam alert as well. Please take notice. Do not get near this company. It is not worth it. I signed up for a shared office month to month. I used it for a month and then had to leave the country for family matters. I canceled in the first days of the month, and was told I had to do it before the start of the next month. So I canceled a few days before the next month. I was told I needed to fill out paperwork. I filled out the paperwork before the end of the month giving a clear 30 day notice. Now I am having to pay an extra month, but fine. But then they canceled my cancelation and removed the paperwork to try and sell me something else. I am out of the friggin country. I talked to them, and they removed two months of charges, but kept a month I hadn't used. I paid that in hopes to get the deposit since I kept trying to follow their procedures. I got another bill for more money. Five months after, after using the space for a month and two days, I have paid close to $1500, and they insist on charging me for more and still have my deposit, and still insist even though I have emails that I haven't formally cancelled. I am not sure why my many emails explaining that I am out of the country are not enough. Stay away at all costs. Don't go near them. They will rip you off completely and try to do everything to screw you over more. Really. For your own benefit, stay away.

THESE PEOPLE ARE SCAMMING CUSTOMERS!Please see other reviews below!This spot is decent but I was scammed by the sales person here. I clearly stated that I only needed access for the remainder of July. After being billed for August a week after my signup payment I asked for a refund. I was given the run around for a week and finally told I would not be given a refund for August. Keep in mind it is still July and almost 2 weeks until August.Additionally I was told by the billing dept that the only way to have been billed for just July was to cancel the same day I signed up. The sales person here conveniently left that out and was happy to send me on my way after I paid for July.The office is almost empty right now due to COVID and I believe she did this to increase her sales number as there's no one signing up right now. Be careful with the their sales people if you're just signing up for 1 month.
