Three Aussies in my family, playland is their family. This place is a godsend for my dogs. They LOVE Liz! We have a very good relationship with their staff. Curious to see how their consolidated downtown location works... we haven't been to that yet!

Reviewing just to update that this location is closed. It's now on 24th and Hill st but this page hasn't been updated bc I walked here to the location today and they're no longer working from this address. Just saving someone a trip if I can !

Do not take your dog here for grooming. I had a scheduled appointment for this service and was advised it would take 2 hours. I come back 2 hours later and my pup was still locked up in a kennel yelping and was told they did not start because they were busy and was backed up. These teens that run the day to day do not have an ounce of empathy.

We were searching for a day care where we can leave our lovely fur babies that fulfill our needs. By far this location is very professional and very knowledgeable on the services they provide. We were in an extensive searching for the best day care, we decided to go ahead with this location and we're truly happy with our decision, I couldn't ask for any better. Thank you guys, we'll definitely be coming back.

I started bringing my older dog, Cooper, here after my sister recommended it. He was getting stir crazy at home and bringing him to daycare once a week has helped so much! He is also much better with other dogs now. All the people there were also great with him. Moved out of the area now but so happy to have had the chance to send him to South Park Doggie Daycare!

This review is long, LONG overdue! My dog clark and I LOVE South Park doggie Playland and all of their wonderful staff! Clark is so excited to run in and start playing. I love that I am able to watch everything online via webcams and I can tell that the staff really care about the dogs. Enrichment activities are extremely important to me and I did a ton of research on various facilities in LA prior to sticking with South Park doggie Playland. Hands down, this is the best daycare/boarding place in Los Angeles. I board here as well! I currently drive in the opposite direction of my work commute just to bring Clark here to be with his besties. He always comes home happy and exhausted. Someone open a Culver City/west la location pls!!! Shoutouts: Liz, Camille, Nina, Chris!!

The best staff, experience ever. My dog immediately fell asleep on the car ride home. They sent an in depth report card with pictures during the day. He had the best time and this was such an amazing experience for us both. I feel He is truly safe with the staff too.

Another great boarding stay! Our doggie has some behavioral quirks that need a lot of patience, and I can always rely on South Park to love her for exactly who she is and offer enrichment that keeps her stimulated without being overwhelming. We love that personalized care.

I really hate to be writing this review, but South Park doggie ignored an injury that my dog had that required an emergency operation, then tried to cover the situation and send him home. My dog Dakota had been multiple times for daycare with no issues. This time we decided to get the grooming package, and during the teeth brushing he somehow has very large cut on his tongue (I'm told he was struggling with the brushing and bit through his tongue). South Park doggie did not call me at any time to inform me this injury or seek medical attention for my dog. I had my MIL coming to pick up the dog. He was supposed to be ready at 2:30, but when she arrived they told her they needed another hour. I now know that in this hour they were waiting for the bleeding to stop so they could send Dakota home. Without calling me, or speaking to a vet, they assured my MIL to take the dog home and that he would be fine. When I got home i noticed how big the cut was, but I figured surely South Park doggie knew what they were talking about and were qualified to give the advice to just take home home - they weren't. The next morning I got opinions for two vets, and both insisted that Dakota needed an immediate operation to stitch his tongue back together to avoid infection or further complications. I called South Park doggie to discuss this, and they had no record of his injury, and asked me to send photos. After I sent the photos, they called me back and said "oh yeah we do have a record, we just wrote it on paper and didn't put it in the system". Ok. They then proceeded to tell me that his injury was not that bad when he left the daycare - yet they had no photos and didn't even have a record of the injury when I initially called. When I asked to be compensated for part of the bill bc I was disappointed in their negligence in not calling me, and giving me bad advice they were not qualified to give, they told me I should have purchased the healthy dog warranty. I dropped off a healthy dog. I expect to pick up a healthy dog, or at the very least to be informed and have my dog get the medical attention he deserves when a serious injury happens. I called on a Monday at 10am to discuss this with them, and when I pushed more on this issue, I was told a manager would call me, but that they were all in a meeting and would get back to me by the end of the week. It is now Friday at 3:30pm and nobody has followed up to apologize, take responsibility, or even ask if Dakota is ok. Absolutely will not be using this business again and cannot recommend it to anyone. I leave my dog with emergency contact information so that in case of an emergency someone will be there to look after him and inform me. Instead I was met with negligence in ignoring my dogs injury, unqualified advice to just take him home, denial that the injury occurred there, and refusal to accept responsibility. Look elsewhere for you dog care

I don't even know how to begin to share my experience with Doggy land - South Park. Not only has the whole staff been extremely helpful. The customer service is above & beyond. Melinda had made Bella and her human parents feel so comfortable wanting to come back every day. While traveling for the last (9) days overseas, it was extremely good to know that our puppy was in the best care ever. We got daily report cards and pictures of the progress of our fur baby. She is learning a great deal of social skills and activities/ agility and so much more. Thank you for making our travels that much greater. We will be seeing you very soon again! Best, Lydia & Gary Gonzalez- Hardie

Love this spot! My family is the new owner of a Shih Tzu puppy. We were petrified to take Domino anywhere and leave him. Between a loving staff, the video cameras, the parties and other activities, cleanliness and organization, we aren't scared anymore. Highly highly highly recommend South Park Doggie Play Land. Thank you Liz and all the gang!

It was his first time at a boarding facility and I really appreciated the care and friendliness of the staff. The report card was very detailed and on target (and they had suggestions as to how to proceed) and the live video feed was a nice touch
