I love love love this shop! I got my Halloween costume here and Carla is just the best. She CUSTOM MADE A HAT FOR ME!! I was looking for a surrealistic hat ? and she glued beautiful butterflies and pearls on mine. I also got a beautiful brown skinny fit dress. Also make sure you get some vintage clothes. They have the most amazing kimonos!

Really unique pieces wandered into the store by chance and found something interesting right away rather than looking through mountains of clothes. Atmosphere was delightful and the staff were lovely thanks again!

So, Google has this labeled as "Slow Clothing" but if you go on Melrose Ave's website and to the store it's actually called American Rebel. It's a bit of digging but I always come out with a piece or two I love. The store is curated well with differ vintage items, but just like with any second hand store you have to make sure to check for tears/stains. There's a lot of unique pieces and the staff is really friendly/helpful. Just be aware that older shoppers may think you work there if you're young and are dressed in something besides a dress

Run of the mill vintage store - more clothes which have been dug up from the 50s, rather than anything curated or special/interesting.

It was my first time that I went to a second hand store. It was ok. I thought they have more "everyday clothes". And maybe something for children, but I didn't find anything I liked. I do like the design of the store, but not the clothes.

Bought a pair of boots wanted to exchange for another color 2 days later. They fed me the b******* exchange/return policy. Horrible customer service. Will never shop here again.
