I am very disappointed with the service at Sloan's Dry Cleaners. I went to have a brand new gown serviced because of a chemical smell on the fabric from its assembly. When I dropped off the piece, I asked if the dry cleaning service would remove the smell and was not told that the dry cleaning would not work. The bill was $40!When I picked up the gown, the smell was not removed and I was told dry cleaning doesn't remove any odor. I asked for a refund since I never would've dropped off my new gown if I knew the dry cleaning would not do the one thing I needed. They denied any wrongdoing and I'm out $40 for literally nothing but a waste of my time. Thanks for nothing. I will not be returning.Service: Special care fabric cleaning

I am VERY disappointed with the service at Sloan's Dry Cleaners. I went to have a brand new gown serviced because of a chemical smell on the fabric from its assembly. When I dropped off the piece, I WAS NOT TOLD THAT DRY CLEANING WOULD NOT WORK, even after asking specifically if it would remove the odor. The bill was $40! When I picked up the gown, the smell was not removed and "maybe I don't know how dry cleaning works." I asked for a refund since I NEVER would've dropped off my new gown if I knew that dry cleaning would not do the one thing I needed. They denied any wrongdoing and I'm out $40 for literally nothing but a waste of my time. Thanks for nothing. I will not be returning.

Damaged my suit, then charged me for it. Been coming here for years, I live right down the street. It's been fine, but recently I dropped off a suit and it came back damaged. (Bunch of holes). I noticed it a few days later, I was informed they sent it out to another company so any damage should be on them. The other company denied the damage and said I must have moths. I don't, but I can't prove that. So I asked them if they could fix it, they told me they could for 40 dollars. Thought maybe a long time customer could get some consideration, but okay, I said fine and even dropped off another pair of pants to be hemmed. The total was around $50. Said it would be ready by Tuesday (6 days away).I came back Tuesday, it wasn't ready, so they said come back Friday, I came back Friday it still wasn't ready, told me to come back Wednesday (14 days total). I picked it up Wednesday and paid the tab, came home and the hemmed pants weren't in the bag. Came back the next morning, and was told they lost the ticket for the pants, but showed them to me and asked "are these yours?" (they were my pants). They then charged me AGAIN for the pants because they lost the ticket that said it was already paid for. So I paid again. Again, been coming here every week for years, but this was 3 or 4 strikes in a row while making no effort to remedy the damage that was caused. So, of course, I won't be back. It's a fine place, but don't let them handle anything expensive.

I'm late to work as this place not open at 8 am I get fired it's this places fault so unprorfession I will let all my family and friends know not even a vmail to leave message my clothes are being held hostage

service is always top tier and the front desk employees as well as the rest of the staff are always very friendly and provide excellent service and results! I highly recommend this business for alterations, dry cleaning, and whatever else they offer because they always seem to do a great job! They also offer next day service!

I came to they place by chance! I was in need of dry cleaning for my Sunday entire and they did a great job! If you life in the are take advantage of this place, its a gem! They didn’t change me extra for using a credit car and they asked how much starch I wanted on my dress shirts. I got dress pants, a off white blazer and my dress shirts dry cleaned. Again, I wish i was closer. I only stopped by because of the tacos for lunch across the way. Thank you for your great customer service and high quality of work that you guys do!

Writing this review in response to a prior visit and excellent customer service by the young lady working the front desk last week. It goes a long way and it is probably often overlooked but customers keep coming back to establishments that have stellar employees working for them like Perla as well as the gentleman working the alterations I forgot his name. She's very knowledgeable about the services that they offer and is very honest and her follow up was excellent.Highly recommended. Very nice people. Fast and reliable.Services: Laundry pick-up
