I had the honor and privilege of having my nose pierced by the gifted hands of the Godfather of Leimert Park, Sika! The sound bowls, incense, and ambiance made it an exceptional experience that felt spiritually and culturally RIGHT! If you prefer the personal touch and precision of perfected piercing by hand, the Godfather SIKA is the man! I am very pleased with the placement, size, healing process and appearance. It's exactly what I wanted.

I came here looking for sage and incense sticks for my home. The lady helping me was very kind and gave me a recommendation for her favorite scent in the incense sticks. The bundle of incense are just $2 and the bundle I got is hand dipped by a man named OG. I ended up getting sage, palo santo, incense, and an incense holder. Can't wait to try more incense when I'm out of these.

Sika’s is a wonderful boutique where you can find from African clothing to African soap, beautiful jewelry and hand made metal sculptures by Sika. I love Sika, his daughter and his shop. Help support local artists and recycle Black dollars in the Leimert Park Village.

absolutely recommend him. I went here years ago, actually over 20 years ago to get a "bone" put in since I had been having issues with my nose ring. Fast forward years later, I wanted to change my new ring and he did his miracle work in my nose/ring.

Had the best experience getting my nose pierced here back in February. Not only is Sika very nice & welcoming, but also very gentle and precise. Months later, my nose piercing is doing great.

What a loving spirit the elder Sika is! My daughter and I went in to get nose piercings and we are so glad we waited to get them done there. The sound bowl ceremony, the beautiful shop, the welcoming staff; this made our experience everything. I'd take this experience over getting a mall piercing any day.

Master Jeweler and humble man of the people. I love Sika's shop. It has everything you could think of from Jazz Music, Art, heavenly smelling products for your skin, to even Jewelry and clothing. This place.... Is the EPITOME of why Black Businesses get a bad "rap". I hate to even put that in the air because they do not represent the majority of black businesses that actually care about their customers. I will NEVER support any business that has such little regard or respect for their customers or perspective customers. Being old should not be an acceptable excuse for not treating people with respect. Him and that lady who works in there are horrible. They are disrespectful over the phone and in person. Hell... do your own nose piercing before you give these folks a dime!

I've been coming to Sika since 1986. He has always been kind and gentle man. But if needed I have seen him check folks. I checked the Google map and it said they close at 7pm. A beautiful woman was inside and told me they were closed. She never got up to allow me to hear what she was saying. She treated me as if I was bothering her. I informed her that the Google app said they were open and that I just wanted to purchase another nose ring. I couldn't even understand what she was saying and she didn't care if I heard her or not. So sad, because Sika has never done that even if he is closed. He will get up and tell you when to come back. This will not stop me from coming back but I guess if I see her I won't bother.
