Customer service is a complete clown show. Confused, disorganized, and unprofessional staff. There are much better alternatives. Save yourself a headache and go elsewhere.

Caution! On 4/15 I purchased my third display from Shelter. After setup, within 2 weeks, the $400 display shorted at the plug and caught fire. Luckily we were there, because the near 40k worth of knives in the enclosure would have been damaged and our building could have burned to the ground. After multiple attempts to reach them by Facebook messenger and email, I was finally able to reach Maria by phone. I was informed managers do not attend regular business hours but to expect a phone call back in 4 hours. After many hours, I called back and was told Susanne is in a meeting and would call soon. After yet another hour I finally got Susanne. I explained the nature of my concern, the haste needed for a replacement, and that I would pay for a new unit in order to have a box to ship the old unit back for a refund. After some time, Susanne called back saying something was wrong with my credit card. After argueing, I added my credit card company on 3 way. Susanne immediately tried to not be recorded by the credit card company and claimed she hung up. This is untrue. I made her run the numbers while they were on the phone. Everything worked and I thought we were good. I received a phone call back saying they would not be shipping and they would no longer be doing business with me. I explained yet again my situation and even told them to check their Facebook. I was told by Maria they had no Facebook and by Susanne that it was theirs but was monitored in another country and there was no access at the business. Eventually, Susanne said they were not going to be bullied, and hung up. I’ve attempted multiple times to speak to a boss, those requests are met with an immediate hang up. This is not a legitimate business and their products may burn your house down. Hopefully their “medical supplies” are higher quality than their displays, if not people may die.

We've been buying a substantial amount of product from Shelter for last 10 or so years. And I have to say, not once have we had any reason to complain. Not only are they excellent, they are consistent in their excellence. They ship on time, the quality of their products don't fall below standard, and they're always willing to work with us when we have specific requests. Shelter is at the top of our supplier list, and I expect they will always be.
