The staff answering the phone was unfriendly and unilaterally pressed the holding button before I spoke. I did the same during 6 calls. I thought it was an answering machine. The same thing happened when I called 2 months ago to make a reservation. On the 7th call, I was able to talk to the employee, but they spoke unkindly, saying they did so because they were busy, and hung up again. I think we need to train our staff well. Because of such employees, the good image of the hospital deteriorated.

I went to a hospital that didn't know how to do anything other than neutering, but my child was allergic, so I kept looking for the right hospital, so yesterday I went to Chateau Hospital for the first time. The Korean female doctor treated my child very kindly, and I left after paying half of the expected hospital fee. I recommended this place to a friend and was so satisfied that I told him to make a reservation right away.

Came here two times now and just so disappointed. Just unprofessional and lack of care. The nurse that helped me rammed my cat (they are in a stroller) in the wall THREE TIMES in a matter of just coming out the door to hand them to me. Like idk why she just had to come out so fast. No sorry. I’m so scared to think how many times she carelessly hit him against the walls when I wasn’t there. The doctors def doesn’t care to much for cats or is mainly handling dogs idk. Aggressively pet my cat on their head like he’s a german shepard or some big ol dog. Like dude, he’s already over stimulated coming out of his home and crib and you gonna dog Handel my cat?
Don’t know much about the experience of dog owners but the detailed other one stars seems fair enough this isn’t the place for everyone.
They uncharge and try to get you to buy stuff that you could get on chewy or Petsmart for legit half the price. A shame for being in a very pet heavy area

I think I finally found my cat's forever doctor! My cat turned two recently so it meant time for the annual wellness check and updated vaccinations. I was able to make an appointment online and I was able to see a vet within two days.
The appointment went well. I was greeted by the staff and filled out the customary required paperwork as well as provided the medical history of my cat. I was then asked to proceed to a waiting room with my cat.
A tech came did the standard weigh-in, temperature check and intake. A few minutes later the doctor came. She did ask me questions about my cat's activity level due to his weight. We discussed ways of getting his activity up. She also created a weight loss plan with specific instructions.
In addition, we discussed his current flea medication. She discussed the efficacy of his current meds and suggested that I take a look at other medications that protect against more than just fleas.
The doctor also discussed dental care and presented me with a printed sheet.
Overall, I was very happy with the care and attention. The doctor attended me at my appointment time, spent time with me and gave 100% of her attention to me.

Dr Avra and the team at Shatto are amazing! We’re very grateful for their expertise in dealing with our cats. Patients for 5 years and look forward to many years of healthy visits!

I've been bringing my cat here for years but my experience has been consistently disappointing the entirety of 2024. Simple refill requests take almost a week and multiple unreturned attempts at communication with the office to fulfill, 9 times out of 10 no one picks up the phone and the voicemail inbox is full, and they had me wait three months for my cat's dental cleaning only to apparently have not scheduled the appointment. The consistent delay with prescription refills is particularly frustrating because for whatever reason I need reapproval every 2 months (and no, it's not because my cat needs testing or a procedure before the meds can be refilled. My cat suffers from thyroid problems, a chronic condition, and I have her blood tests done regularly). They do tend to have openings fairly quickly but I'm guessing it's because people get tired of their nonsense and leave. I suggest taking your business elsewhere. I have.

Dr. Avra is very sensitive, informed, and is also a practical doctor. This is my third or fourth visit to him with my cat Annabelle, and he continues to be a wonderful vet in all respects, on all pet care fronts. I also love the front office staff at Shatto - they and the vet tech I just met with are intuitive, compassionate, and like Dr. Avra, also practical and good at getting things done, getting you and your pet's needs met!

The major Vets got changed. Ever since this happened, I feel like wasting my time and money there. I should look up new vet place.
