I discover this little market by chance while I was waiting for my order at today start here. Everything at the shop is so interesting and artisanal. There is a variety of homemade Asian dried snacks. And You can even get fresh greens here. I purchased chicken chip here that is keto-friendly and tasty. I also purchased chicken rice that was prepared by her mom. It was very moist and tasty. Great homemade meal that you can't find anywhere else. I enjoyed it. The best item is actually the thin cookie with sliced almonds on top. It is crispy and not too sweet. The guests I served this to love this cookies soo much that they took the 2 bags I purchased and demanded to know where I got it and what is the address. This little market is a gem.

This shop is fabulous! Creative and unique selection of prepared foods, candies, sauces, and gifts. I got ginger marmalade, fresh oolong tea, sesame cookies, and so many other goodies! Friendly customer service and great location between Thank You Coffee and Today Starts Here. I will definitely be back :-)

Linda Sivrican (owner) is charming and multi-talented, and *bing* we now have a new "superette" tucked in between the already happening Today Starts Here, Thank You Coffee and Paper Please. The theme here is Vietnamese-related things starting with the makings for replicating the famous Viet coffee drinks and the various harder to find things when a 99 Ranch isn't nearby for making up a batch of spring rolls or Pho. But then her genius starts igniting and you notice she's brought in dozens of her family's favorite snacking homemade things you might find either from street vendors or small one-owner shops ubiquitous overseas, but really hard to maintain here in the high-priced commercial real estate of So. Calif. Think non-Japanese Izakaya things, like really great steamed pork Bao's (but not the Cantonese variety from a few blocks away - these have a much different lighter taste, texture, and include all sorts of extras you won't find at CBS/ABC/Lucky/etc. - like taro and diced marinated eggs. She's also stocking entrees being produced at a local Buddhist temple, which are Shojin-ryori compliant vegetarian and a plethora of carefully selected items ranging from snack foods to locally-grown produce, flowers and even a space dedicated to her other passion - custom perfumes and scented oils. Just spending some time wandering from shelf to shelf will seem like taking a trip into someone's Favorite Things collection but yes, it's from many, many different places and cultures and will continue evolving daily. But the key take-away is how many simple grab-and-go things are to be found here, and it kind of feels like the early days of Trader Joes when they had so many interesting things, but often they disappeared the next week and replaced with something else even more interesting. We loved their version of Lo Mai Gai (Chinese Sticky Rice Tamales) in the version here is in cute 3 in. cubes but with a very tasty taro, pork belly and something-something stuffing. And the Baos described above were a definite keeper. As this little gem keeps evolving, we are definitely in for a delightful tour of exotic tastes and happy comfort foods from afar offered at reasonable prices and with an extra dose of compassion and heart. If you can't decide, her super-helpful staff are really keen to help you pick out fun things to try and the assortment just boggles the imagination. Great vibes here, too!
