I’m a sucker for battered fish + Corona combos. If you like fish and tacos, this is a pretty chill spot. They’re a chain, so every location will obviously have a different atmosphere. I’ve only been to the DTLA location once and it was pretty empty late at night (which goes without saying is either a good thing or a bad thing depending on your preference of vibe).

The food is a disaster. This is not Mexican food. I've been eating Mexican a few decades already. The place is ugly and expensive for no reason. The Asada tacos I ordered tasted like lengua instead. What a lousy place. Put it this way: I won't eat at this place in the future even if they'll offer free foods.

This place used to be good but After covid they got cheap and and very sloppy down hill. the asada meat its a chunk of hard meat from the lowest grade of meat you can get. Chewy and very hard to swallow. Not even close to what it used to

The food was so gooooood. Fish was soft and fresh and yummy in the seafood enchilada. Beans and rice were fresh and flavorful. Came with chips. Do recommend. Lots of space on the inside for seating too

Went in for lunch and had to wait over 30mins for my food. Ordered the sopes with rice and beans. Although the chicken had good flavor my tortilla was super hard I couldn’t cut into it. The beans looked dryer than my skin and had no flavor.Agua de piña was tasty but too pricey for such a small amount. Service was ok but they don’t bring out your food. You must go get it yourself.Overall, not worth it. 4/10

Señor Fish on Olvera Street is an absolute gem in the heart of Los Angeles. From the moment I stepped into the restaurant, I was greeted with warm smiles and a vibrant atmosphere that instantly transported me to the streets of Mexico. The menu at Señor Fish is a delightful journey through authentic Mexican cuisine. Whether you're craving tacos, burritos, or seafood specialties, they have it all. I highly recommend trying their fish tacos, which are simply out of this world. The fish is perfectly seasoned, tender, and served in a warm tortilla with a medley of fresh toppings that add an explosion of flavors to every bite. The service at Señor Fish is exceptional. The staff members are attentive, friendly, and go above and beyond to ensure a memorable dining experience. They are knowledgeable about the menu and happy to make recommendations based on your preferences.

I ordered the tofu burrito assuming it was vegetarian/vegan and it's NOT. The rice inside the burrito has chicken in it. I have no idea why they would go out of their way to offer tofu meat alternatives and for whatever reason not stick the landing by having chicken in the rice. They do not label that anywhere on their website, online menu, or inside their restaurant. I had to call them when I got home and took a bite of it.Also their "veggie" burritos have the chicken rice in it, so watch out for that.

There is a long line that does not move fast for lunch. The person at the cashier is nice. The hygiene at this place is not the best. It is short staffed and people are multi-tasking, touching everything, then the food, without gloves. The main cook has a mash but he always wears it under his chin. When they call a number, to notify the customers that their order is ready, the yelling (and the droplets that inevitably come out) is done very close to the dishes! The waiting time to get your order is also sometime quite long. The dishes are generous and the food quite good and classic Mexican, unfortunately, there is a lof of sloppiness at that place.

Wonderful! I came here just to store my bags for a few hours (with Bounce) but really appreciated the friendly staff and nice atmosphere of the restaurant. Ended up eating dinner here and it was absolutely delicious!
