I got a watermelon from there get home cut it. I was very upset because it was mushy and soft but I put it in the refrigerator and came back and tried it and it was perfect so folks I would like to say I learned something new I did not know that I guess when it's really hot outside and you cut into a watermelon. Sometimes it's mushy inside you put it in the fridge raider it was perfect. I will be back. Thank you.

This place is on the North West corner of Normandie & Gage.These Texas Watermelons are Un-Believably Delicious!!I've had Red, Yellow, & now Orange meat seeded Watermelons from here and every single one of them have be sweet, firm (not super soft) & Juicy.

I really didn't want to leave this review because I am a major supporter of black owned businesses but after reading these reviews on how others were treating when trying to return their watermelon, I had to. I wont belabor the point but let's just say my watermelon taste like chemicals, not sure why. I chopped it to a lost because I feared I would get a push back so why bother. A good watermelon is hard to find.

I just bought a YELLOW WATERMELON ( 20. ) an I ask the sales lady have you taste them pointing to the cut one on display..she said no ! I has anyone taste them she said no! I don't know ! LOL an said I'm not really a WATERMELON person. It's pick at your own risk i made a joke about bringing it back. She gladly got me clear on that NO REFUND ! I thought she would give me a hint...but who am just an person spending buying blind! At least the Hispanics slice a Orange an you can taste it. Us Black's gotta do better !

Don't even bother buying a watermelon from here. Most of them are INFECTED, ROTTEN. Last weekend I stop by and pick a $15 watermelon, 3 days after it started to leak all over my kitchen counter and felt very soft. I went the following Saturday looking forward to an exchange and a lady said there's no warranty on any watermelon. I said it's only common sense if your watermelon is nasty and rotten for you to take it back. She said owner is not here and he is the only one can make an exchange. It's not about the $15 watermelon, it's about integrity, customer service, SO ITS A LIE. DONT BUY ANY WATERMELON FROM HERE PLEASE. YOU HAVE BEING WARNED.

I recently bought a $25 humongous seeded Watermelon. The appearance of the watermelon looked great.I took it home and it was nothing but soft mush inside.I live far from the location, so I wasn’t able to return it until approx. 2 1/2 wks later. By than I had already trashed it because it was becoming moldy.I explained the entire story to a lady working there. She was unwilling to do anything to rectify the matter without me having the2 1/2 wk old moldy remains of mush.I will never go there again, and I don’t recommend them!
