2024 pricing is out of control. Mugs now start at $3.99 and everything else has gone up accordingly. Be ready for a surprise at checkout, where you'll be charged higher prices for clothing than the prices posted on the racks.

Worst customer service ever! The girls that were working the night shift were trying to kick us out 15 minutes before closing time . They close at 7 not 6:45, I had no intention of going over that time so I didn't appreciate being rushed out. If you are gonna work in the customer experience field at least have the courtesy to be respectful of people and the times put by the establishment.

Overall, this location has a decent selection of clothing and other household items to choose from. The pricing isn't too bad either. If you really spend the time looking through the racks you might find some gems. When I was checking out there was only one cashier at front. It was kind of a wait, but other than that, I would come back for sure.

Purchased a couple of items from this location worth $45 dollars, the cashier (a tall man with long curly hair) charged me $57 I told him that he was over charging me, he called his supervisor (a tall red head woman) and she went over everything and said that it was $53 she fiddle with the computer again and said that actually its was $63 dollars. This was frustrating, stressful and anxiety inducing because the employee's kept changing the total and telling that I was charged far less because the new total was $63.

I have been shopping at the Pico Salvation Army location for the past four years. The employees there, especially Shelly and Rosio, have created a welcoming and compassionate environment for customers. Their kindness and willingness to help customers, including those with disabilities, is commendable. During challenging times like the pandemic, having a place where i felt supported and valued can make a significant difference. The Salvation Army store became a solace for me during that period. The store offers top-tier products, which adds to my overall satisfaction with the shopping experience. I acknowledge and appreciate the efforts of individuals who go above and beyond to create a sense of community and make a positive impact. I would like to add that I have seen numerous instances where the employees has been cursed out and physically assaulted. This area has many homeless and mentally unstable people who frequent the location. I strongly encourage corporate to employ a full time security guard before someone is seriously hurt or losses their life due to unruly customers.

I visit all the Salvation Army in Southern California, every week, numerous times, every week. I deliver a medical supplies all over Southern California, which allows me to kill time, and I visit thrift stores throughout California while waiting for work. I was in shock with how the employee in the picture was treating over a dozen customers in the store at one time. She was not rude to me, but extremely rude to a few of the customers in front of me. She was loud enough and vocal enough for all the customers in the store to hear how rude she was. I get it it's a thrift store and you don't have the greatest quality of life walking through the store, but everyone should be treated fairly and with respect. It seem to me that even the other employees were fearful of her. There's a professional way to speak to people. She had Bad energy overall which is a ripple effect in a company.. One bad apple can literally affect the whole environment. Although she sucked the energy out of the room. . The store was clean and all the other employees are so sweet. P.S. While I was inline witnessing this bad behavior, a customer had a paper cut and asked for a piece of tape that was sitting on the counter, This employee in the picture responded with "put that down., op touching our stuff that is not for you.!" The poor customer wanted a half inch of scotch tape. For her to react like that was ridiculous. On top of everything else that happened before that.. Hopefully somebody above her will speak to her. If she is that comfortable to act like that with 15 to 20 customers there, I couldn't imagine being there for a week as an employee.

Friendly staff when I dropped off donations and the location is clean and organized. The downside is. That there is no parking you have to find street parking which is limited.

This is my favorite thrift store in the area. It's better than the local Goodwills. It's easy to donate, and the staff all seem very nice, especially the woman appears to be the manager. She's so nice to all of the customers. The only downside is the lack of parking. They do not have a parking lot and street parking is hard to find.

This use to be the best but now they have raised their price, closed the dressing rooms, took away all mirrors and now have no exchange policy at all. This place is the worst.

FIX THE REGISTERS! This place never has two registers up. Terrible. Great store and great stuff but holy cow how hard is it to add another register? They spent two weeks adding brand new cameras but cant upgrade their vintage computers from the 90's. Waiting in line for 30 min to pay for a tshirt. Otherwise great stuff to find and great staff, lots of parking outside on the street or across the street. Go early and good luck!!!

The parking lot near the building is apparently not for customers, they just arbitrarily decide it is and isn’t. They say no public parking which makes sense for non customers, but they need to say “no parking” and block off the lot entirely if that’s really the case. There more vehicles than employees parked there, so clearly it’s a parking lot for someone. Don’t play games with people who are trying to visit or go in and shop.Other than that, not much of a selection. Rude employees. Go to another thrift store. They’re grumpy dealing with homeless people who have been banned from the store and come in anyway.

This review is just about the drop off and donation process. I just dropped off a few boxes and all of the employees couldn't have been friendlier or nicer. There were two guys in the back who were very helpful and sweet and the entire process was so smooth and easy that I will definitely be back to donate again! I didn't catch their names but it was a younger Caucasian male with a brown mustache and a younger Hispanic male clean-shaven. Also, since it was my first time here I went inside to ask where I should leave donations and the young woman at the front desk was equally kind and helpful. The entire donation process was great!
