I've been visiting Salvare for several years now, and it's hands down my favorite home furnishing store in SoCal. We've picked up many bigger (e.g., coffee table, chair) and smaller (e.g., pillows, ceramics) pieces, and there's always something fun and new to see in the shop. Prices are super fair, especially in LA. Selena, the owner, not only has fantastic taste, but is incredibly nice. Highly recommended!

This shop has the most amazing things. From gifts to furniture, you can't go wrong! The prices are very low for the neighborhood and quality of goods. If you stop in often, you will never be disappointed , as they are constantly getting in new stuff. Salvare is the best!

Fast service repairing my table lamp. I had put in a non matching bulb and ruined the socket- it was sparking. I took it to Salvare Goods and he put in a new socket and dimmer switch and showed me what bulbs were required . He also showed me that it was now working safely. One day service- BUT pricey- I do love my lamp though!

I was hunting for something else on Yelp, came across Salvare Goods Google reviews and couldn't believe I hadn't written one. I've been here five times. Twice he did repairs -- one of them on an extremely delicate glass piece. Twice I've bought lamps from him. He is honest and quick. If he can't do something or can't promise it can be done well, he'll tell you. And his selection of used lamps and chandeliers is absolutely lovey and reasonably priced.

Some people may scoff or quaff at the thought of shopping at a flea market. They may complain that they are dirty or sell junk. Others will see the unique merits of finding homemade and collectible goods. Not to mention the experience of searching which is the best part. Every Sunday, for years and years now, Fairfax High School has transformed their parking lot into a flea marketing boasting the name Melrose Trading Post. So, what can you expect here?

Well, often with a five-star rating you're suspicious. Not necessary here. Salvare Goods was as advertised. Not only did he repair my lamp but he made it better than the original. Hats off to a master!

Salvare Goods rescued a mid-century modern lamp I bought on eBay. Why do they always break right after you've left positive feedback? He did a wonderful job, it was fast, reasonably priced, and he's a very nice guy. I'll be taking my other antique eBay lamps there when they inevitably break.

Went to Salvare Goods today for advice on where to get a slight repair on something that's close to (but not really in) the lamp category, and Salvare Goods kindly fixed it. He could have just pointed me somewhere else, but he went the extra mile.

The owners have incredible taste. I think they're basically artists who opened up a vintage store. That's pretty much as good as it gets. Their prices are reasonable. I am a designer with a focus on children's spaces and my clients always loved the unique things I find for them. Whatever, I have bought from SG, has had years and years of love and conversation-starting moments.

If you're looking for a diamond in the rough...look no further. If you're interested in odd, simple, and everything in between home goods Salvare has one of a kind pieces. They also have decent prices and the customer service is lovely. Great spot to do a quick peek-a-boo if you're furniture hunting.
