Most Ross stores are usually a mess but this one is the exception. The staff seems friendly enough except maybe one of the managers I've seen around but she's not always there. Besides that this place is legitimately a nice place to shop. They have an excellent selection of almost every category. I've found some real gems looking through the T-shirt racks.
Lines can get heavy at certain hours but that happens to all Ross location as far as I can remember. But I do find this one to be more efficient so it's rare to see an unbearable "Ross Line" like you see at the Rimpau location.
I'd like to say my cashier Cynthia was so sweet and kind helping check out my items at the self checkout. She greets everyone (English or Spanish) with so much joy and she says goodbye and wishes you a great day in the sweetest way possible no matter who you are or how you act. She's such a ray of sunshine. Such a sweet person genuinely.
Also, I forgot my wallet on one occasion and they kept my stuff saved for later even though I went over the item limit.
All around great service and a great store. Would 11/10 recommend you do weekly runs to this store. You'll always find what you're looking for and the staff (especially cashier Cynthia) will always make you feel at home.

Worst Ross I have been. Bad customer service. If you want to see a jewelry or sun glasses here,first you have to make a line.Same line for purchasing and if you don’t like the item you just waste your 30,40 minutes on the line.

This is my local Ross and I shop here very often. The current Loss Prevention Staff have good customer service. There is in particular one Loss Prevention staff by the self check-outs who is very nice---I haven't asked him his name.
However, today I did lose it with the supervisor---who I have already noticed tends to carry herself with an unfriendly demeanor--- because she was not acknowledging my needs. I was really bothered because I was returning gift items (they did not have tags, but I had the receipt and several times I mentioned they were gifts) and she credited it to the card of the person who gifted me the items. I got upset because that is why I kept mentioning I was returning gifts. She said she did asked me if I wanted them back on the card and that I said yes. Why would I want it back on the card if I expressed several times it was a gift? I told the associate in front of her that I wanted store credit. But she doesn't greet nor make eye contact with the customer, so how would she know what I wanted if she did not bother to acknowledge or listen to anything I said.
I am very disappointed that her staff had much better customer skills than her. She is supposed to be the example. I did lose it and yelled at her that she was rude, and that I had already noticed other times she was rude to customers, to which she replied, "I don't care." Ross, you need to do a better job of training your management team. Trainings and in services are important. I understand customers can be quite challenging at times and supervisors need to be firm, but that doesn't mean they need to be rude and unprofessional. Instead of acknowledging her mistake, she got defensive. The supervisor's associate number appears as 184614 and my transaction took place on 4/9/24 at 10 p.m.

The security guard Jeffery is The Best! He was very professional and kind! The store wasn't the best but Jeffery sure makes the experience well worth it!

I used to like this place. I was there on the weekend. Got to deal with a lazy, disrespectful and bad attitude young male cashier. Eye glasses and tattoos on his neck unfortunately I don’t have his name. I’m trying to explain him that I’m paying in two separate transactions He interrupted me right away telling me to remove the hangers from the clothes. He repeated it like three times . I was trying to finish the first transaction at this time.I’m putting the change away and he is standing there doing nothing waiting for me to remove the hangers . I proceeded to do that and he removed some from some of the items. At the end he asked me to return the shopping cart that the customer before me left behind. I just leftToday I returned some of the items one of them is from the ones he removed the hangers and that’s when I noticed that he not even removed the safety tag from one of them. I hope he can do better or just look for another job if he is not happy working in this place .

Used new self-checkout. Was unaware a security device was attached to towel. Had to return for removal. A SIGN WOULD'VE BEEN NICE AND SAVED ME AN EXTRA DRIVE

The rake of clothes look as if they came from the outside corners. No, since of order in ANY department shelves. I'll never return to the Hawthorne store again.
