Employee named Erica did not help to change my $40 into single bills despite I bought an item, and said she already closed the register even when she can open it again, and extremely disrespectful towards customers. Hope she gets fired ASAP.

Store entrance is always dirty, empty boxes and theres always either a dirty blanket or a shopping cart with random trash that some homless person forgot,the store is almost empty i never find what i need only good thing about this store is the cashiers ..there always willing to help and very friendly ,honestly thats the only reazon i go back there cause im in and outeither because i wont find what i need but if i did the cashiers are very fast..

I love Rite Aid. They took ours away on Gower and sunset in Hollywood and am very disappointed. Now I go to the one on Santa Monica in Vermont and it's a nice start. You just a little further away. Please quit taking out our Our Rite Aid's . I love that store

The staff in the store are friendly and the store is clean and well-supplied. The line moves quickly and there is always parking. The problems I've had have always been in the pharmacy. Female, middle-aged, Asian pharmacist needs to learn how to speak English and realize she's in a different culture. It was exhausting trying to communicate with her. I could maybe understand every third word. She also gave me the wrong medication and when I called back to say that and ask if they had the right medication, she shouted that I told her I wanted the [wrong] medication. Now I'm talking to an 8-year-old having a tantrum. Rite Aid, do you read your Yelp reviews? If you've got this many complaints, it might be a good idea to make some changes.

The Rite Aid at the corner of Santa Monica Boulevard and Vermont Avenue has become my go-to shop when I am driving home and need to pick up ice cream, milk, cleaning products, liquor, and -- of course -- first aid and medicine. I appreciate that they have natural and herbal remedies. I also appreciate the helpfulness of their staff. I was once overcharged for an item and when I complained to the store manager, he apologized and quickly reimbursed me for the entire price -- and he was cheerful about it! This Rite Aid has professional and personable staff, good selection of items, decent prices -- and plenty of parking!

Incredibly rude and lazy employees, each and every one of them with a enormous chip on his / her shoulders . This store is filthy and always out of stock of whatever you’re looking for ! You get the privilege of waiting in giant line with one cashier who resents his/ her job and the customer and goes out of their way to show it . And why do I have to wait 10 minutes in line to purchase a scoop of ice cream and then wait another 10 while they all avoid providing service . Where is the respect for the paying customer ? Who trains the managers in this store ? We definitely need some retraining for assistant mgr Rosa ! And employees need to be reminded that no customers equals no job ! Thrifty ice cream is among the finest , but I won’t be disrespected or insulted to acquire it! Rite aid forces its patrons to run a literal gauntlet to get a scoop of ice - cream ! There is no such thing as a fast easy transaction in this store - you gotta plan for a major time investment that will never prove worth it ! This is a business that takes its customers for granted ! Let the buyer beware ! Rite - Aid is the Radio Shack of the retail drug industry ! Good riddance- we won’t miss you !

I've been going to my neighborhood Rite Aid for almost 20 years. The pharmacists and pharmacy techs were always cordial and helpful through the years and I was very happy with their service. Unfortunately last year they have to close as a part of Rite Aid's reduction nationwide. I chose this location at Santa Monica Blvd. because it was closest to me. This is how my nightmare started. I have never been mistreated and disrespected in my life specially by this short, Hispanic pharmacy tech lady with gray hair. You will not miss her as she sometimes wear glasses with glitters. She is very rude and will always treat me with disrespect. She will never listen to what I'm inquiring and her answer will always be "no" or "I don't know". I always try to avoid her and recently I asked if the Asian pharmacist himself can assist me. When he was about to help me with my prescription inquiry, she interrupted our conversation and said "why do I need to ask for him? that's not his job, that's my job!" So after the pharmacist left I asked her if she can call the office manager from my doctor's office so I can get my prescription for my high blood pressure as I am always running out from it. Her answer "we are very busy! I will fax them!" I asked her when she is going to do that and her answer was "I don't know!" . I have been a manager for the hospitality business for almost 3 decades and she is an example of someone who shouldn't be working in any customer service business. Anyway it has been 2 weeks and I still never receive a call back from them. I recently transferred all my prescriptions to another pharmacy which was far away from me but I received the service, immediate assistance and respect that a customer deserves.

Different pharmacists/staff here give different info as to what my doctor prescribed / do not seem to read the doctor's prescription plan. General sense of confusion and impatience. Don't enjoy dealing with this pharmacy at all and will probably change even though it's the closest to my house.
